We booked 2 rooms - one for my husband and myself and the other for our (adult) son. Our rooms were very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Lighting the in the bathroom was good, esp, for putting on make-up and even had a make-up mirror. The staff were very friendly and helpful; front desk staffed 24/7. I had a minor accident and staff got ice from their bar and band aids for me to use. We had their breakfast 2 of the days (discount if you reserve the day before); it was typical European spread of breads/cheese/meat/fruit and drinks (tea, espresso, juice), and very good. Both rooms were very small, but there was enough room for our suitcases/backpacks, and cubbies/closet to put things in. You can't beat the location - across from Museum Square and Vondelpark in a quiet, upscale neighborhood. Bus/tram stop at Museum Square. Also, grocery and restaurants easy walk away.

Bathroom was small - toilet quite close to wall and shower also small. It was fine for us, but for a large person might be a bit of a squeeze. Stairs are curved and small (like so many in Europe), but also had. an elevator. No central air conditioning (it is an old building), but fans in room and opening window sufficed to keep room temp OK (it was up to 70's-80 degree F outdoor temp).

We loved the location and the proximity to the beach. It was very easy to walk to the beach and into the town center, and we were able to easily drive to Den Helder to take the ferry to Texel for a day trip. The private garden area is also very nice.

The only thing that we thought could be improved on was the bathroom. Which is separated from the living area by a curtain. A door would be ideal, but it was fine.

Large, well-equipped apartment, clean and modern. Really quiet neighborhood. Comfy beds. Short walk to tram into Amsterdam, great base from which to explore the city. Restaurant on premises and supermarket nearby.

We loved the location! It's perfectly located so you can easily get out and explore the City. The tram drops you off immediately in front of the hotel, which is great on a rainy day!

There is no elevator, and the stairs are quite steep, which can be a struggle getting luggage up to the fourth floor. But we enjoyed the workout.

easy trip from central station by uber or tram. Staff was very helpful. Bakery right down the street. Bike rental right next door. good for a first time stay in Amsterdam.

The room: Cleaning supply smell when we arrived was overpowering! Small but sufficient. The neighborhood: It wasn't the cleanest area- Rembrandt square was a mess the day we left.

Very clean and conveniently close to train and bus routes. Grocery store and coffee shops within walking distance.

Can get warm and stuffy. Fan provides little comfort A/C did not work. Windows do not open. But would still stay here again because all of the food outweighs that.

Very comfortable for our family of three, and great amenities.

It was further away than we initially thought it would be, and there is not much in walking/biking distance.

We loved the location, the rooms, the well equipped kitchen, and the pet ducks.

The bathroom could use a couple of hooks to hang towels or underwear etc. There could be a little doormat by the glass door to the deck. That way one can dry off wet shoes. I was wondering if we should have separated our garbage. Perhaps provide different bins. Orient the chalets away from each other. We felt stared at by our German neighbors.
