An amazing view of the harbour and close to all the amenities. We also very much enjoyed the indigenous art prints on the walls of our space, and the art gallery downstairs with the same focus (I ended up buying a very nice piece to take back home with me). Easy check in at gallery and a quiet place to stay... very comfy beds!

Nothing really unacceptable, although the furnishings were a bit dated. Probably good for older folk.

Location was good. Lovely view over the harbour, although a bit restricted. The apartment was well fitted out.

Nothing, the room and Tofino is amazing

I could not have asked for more help on my arrival, My son and I arrive early with a large vehicle and a really nice guy welcomed us and went above and beyond beyond to help with parking/recommendations….

Wow. Simply Wow. Friendly hotel, with clean comfortable rooms, including kitchenette, nice bathroom, and the very best view I've ever experienced from a hotel balcony in many years of global travel. First-Nations-Owned , it's good to be investing in the local community. We stayed in a "Standard Suite". They also offer a discount on the fabulous First-Nations-owned "Ahous Adventures" for Whale, Sea-lion and Bear watching trips combined with a light touch of cultural insights. There's also a good choice of restaurants and bars in Tofino, and easy hikes along the Tonquin trail to the Pacific beaches. If this is the only life-time trip you'll ever be able to make to Tofino, then you couldn't make a better choice than Himwitsa.

Lots of late night revelers and loud band into late night/early morning across the street. Make sure to ask for a room away from that!

Room was not made-up when we returned after a full day away from the property. Apparently, we should have displayed the sign, asking to clean the room when we left in the morning but the “No Disturb / Please Make-Up Room” hanger was no where to be seen in the room. Small inconvenience relative to the positive experience we had.

Spectacular waterfront location in heart of town. Spacious and well equipped with good kitchen facilities and parking. Enjoy the action on the water with the mountains as a backdrop on your huge deck. Lots of food and supplies a two-minute walk away.

There is nothing to write about here, as we were fully pleased.

Excellent location and fantastic View. The room was fully equipped and highly functional. Lovely fireplace and balcony, where we could warm up after our swim. It was much easier to rent a car and easy parking included. It felt exceptional and peaceful.
