It was cold and the windows were banging all night. It was only a bit windy. Other guests in elevator said they were also cold all night. I'd remove it from booking.com. housekeepers complain to guests that the management sucks and dont appreciate them. Also the building and decor is old and outdated. It's an eyesore. Cigarette burn holes in the couch and the outlets were all full so we had to unplug the lamps to charge our phones. After midnight the front door is barricaded on the inside with a piece of old 2by4 piece of wood. Have to knock on window to get in. No front entrance key. have to wait till front desk is available to move the piece of wood.1 elevator is out of service. And the other one is so slow. Also inside the elevator the floor numbers dont light up so u dont know if it's even working.

Kitchen missing basics like dish cloth, drying towel, dish soap. The bathroom door wouldn't close because of previous damage.

We loved the Tropicana, it is dated but that provides a lot of the charm and it was clean and not cluttered. It's in a great area of Vancouver. The staff were extremely friendly, chatty and helpful.

This is an entire apartment! With a bedroom separate from the living room with big wrap around windows and a kitchen and a balcony! We even had a water view. Amazing value for the price in a prime downtown location in a city as expensive as this. Also loved how the building retains its retro charm (like actual retro, not the kitschy manufactured kind).

This is basically a poorly maintained and grotty property from the sixties. We would never use the very dated kitchen nor would we walk around barefoot. There is no air conditioning and no fans. We paid far too much for this experience. The receptionist was initially hostile to deal with due to our early arrival even though we had advised we were coming off a cruise ship.

We were allowed in slightly earlier than the normal 3 o’clock.We had arrived in the morning as our cruise ship docked before 8am. The bathroom was the best room and the bed was comfortable. The position is good and we had a fine view from the 9th floor.

The door was open and they still tried to rent the unit out knowing that it smelled so terrible I don't like that management knew and still expected us to stay.
