AustraliaThere was no microwave in the room we had to go to reception to use. They put us in a room overlooking the canopy at the front of the hotel and the cleaning staff station right near our door. We couldn’t be bothered asking to be moved. Fridge and aircon was noisy.
Location was good. The staff were great and the room was very spacious.

CanadaThere was no hand soap. This room was for 2 people and should have 2 luggage racks. Lamps should be on the night tables. Also, the bathroom should have additional racks for wet towels. and the carpet close to the furniture needs vacuuming. A small coffee shop would be an additional plus. It is attention to detail like having hand soap that catapults a hotel into the desirable range.

AustraliaWhen we arrived in the underground car park there was very low visibility due to a guy on a machine supposedly vacuuming up dust, however all he was actually doing was creating a very dusty and unhealthy environment. It was quite ridiculous as no dust was being collected just spread into the air !!
It was located on the main street and easy to walk down to the shops and restaurants. We paid $10 extra for an upgrade, which included a balcony with a view of the mountains. Yes room 250 did have a small balcony with a view blocked by trees onto a side street. Very comfortable bed and great shower. Pool looked nice and clean, and the sun deck just of it overlooked a small park.

CanadaIt was very dated. The wallpaper had damage in the halls and in the room. The baseboards were almost coming off the wall, and we're damaged. It was clean but it was run down.
It was on Banff Ave, so it wasn't a far walk for anything, about 15 minutes to the center of town. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff was polite as well.

CanadaNot the cleanest hotel I have been too. There was one night where we had to use the hide a bed and to our surprise the cover that goes over the mattress was stained pretty bad. We called down to the counter and asked for new sheets, as well as an extra blanket which was not supplied in the room. One of the pillows on the bed was also dirty, and didn't look washed. The toilet in the room didn't flush very good either. This is a minor issue obviously, but also, who likes to call the desk when the toilet isn't flushing.
Most everything about the Rundle stone lodge is really good. The underground parking is spacious, and there are two elevators for convenience getting to your room. The room we stayed in was large and had all the amenities you would expect. Pool and hot tub were also very nice. There is even a change room area with showers lockers and bathrooms.

CanadaMould smell in bathroom. The shower was gross. Looked dirty on the wall. Seriously thought I saw mould. It wasn’t a very enjoyable shower as the smelll was making me sick. Also in the pool area. All the fake plants were just covered in dust. I’m super sensitive to these issues because of my mast cell condition.

CanadaHallways were very confusing, very much like a maze when you are at one end of the building and need to get to the other end (to the back door) as I parked our truck in the back (not in the underground parking lot). They ran out of water bottles in the whole building. There are no microwaves. Rooms were smaller than expected. Not a fan of their soap. It has a strong ginger smell to it.
Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff! Anytime I had questions they took the time to answer without making me feel rushed. Their customer service skills are 10/10. Very clean rooms and building ! Loved the pool/gym area ! Loved the decor and style ! The price was so affordable ! I would think of staying here again, but with some adjustments, such as: * Requesting a room on the side of the building near elevator B. * Bringing my own soaps and stock up on my own water. * Bring noodle snacks and tea and not any microwaveable items.

Great location just over 10 minutes walk to the centre of Banff or free bus (tickets from reception) from just outside of the property. Super clean with good sized rooms. Lovely lobby with fireplace. The heated basement parking was a real bonus and there was always plenty of space. The swimming pool had re-opened when we arrived which was an unexpected surprise. Really good stay thank you
