Crammed rooms with faded paintwork, kinda easy fix. Sink in my room was tiny with a glass shelf obstructing the access, so teeth brushing was a bit challenging. No fridge.

Location and jazz music at the bar. Pretty clean bathroom, towels and bedsheets were also ok.

The air conditioning in the room was barely adequate, a stark contrast with the cool hallway.

Very well located hotel. We were a little apprehensive about the jazz club on site, but our room on the top floor was very quiet. The shared bathroom and shower were very clean.

The room was directly over the bar, which is pretty loud until about 1130.

The location is perfect. It was nice to find a budget friendly-ish stay in the heart of Toronto. The room I stayed in w/ shared bathroom was small, clean, thoughtfully furnished and with a private sink. The shared washrooms and shower were clean. I would stay here again.

The place was very dated and had zero amenities. Really just a place to sleep. The jazz bar downstairs was very loud and very noticeable from my room. Tight space with minimal offerings.

Staff were attentive and very friendly and accommodating, excellent service. Rooms were simple but clean, and very quiet, despite the jazz bar. We enjoyed an excellent Jazz show on Saturday night, it was so convenient. Location is great.

It would be nice if 1 jazz show is included for those staying 2 or more nights. The beds are not the most modern but were still comfortable enough to get a good night's sleep.

Great location, close walking distance to anything we needed. Very clean and well kept shared bathrooms. Free toast and coffee or a larger meal for purchase on site. Fun jazz music nightly downatairs

It is an old building. Don't expect the Fairmont. Staff was nice, bed was reasonably comfortable. For a one night stay at a great price, it did the job.

You can't beat the location for price and the bar/restaurant was ok. The music was great and it was close to the theatre.

Food is relatively good ,service is very good. Rooms are old and kinda dumpy but relatively comfy. Concerts are good for jazz fans.

the mattress was a bit on the firm side for me personally, and I paid extra to have our own washroom (which I thought was still worth it and would do again) but there was no door on the washroom, just a curtain. I think a pocket door would have been nice so I don't know how comfortable I would be here multiple nights in a row if I was staying with someone else again

amazing location, great public transportation very close by, lots of shopping and food in walking distance, it was clean and cozy and great for the price. surprisingly not that loud above the jazz bar but I did stay on the very top floor. staff were nice and the room and amenities were just what a friend and I needed for 1 night after a concert. they let us check in a few hours early which was great as well. I would definitely stay here again and the friend I brought also told me she would as well, and I'd definitely recommend it to someone else.

It was stuffy in the room, and if you open the window, it was noisy. Considering the location and price, the conditions are quite acceptable for a short stay.

Great location, all the sights are close. The room is clean, the hotel is quiet and calm. The staff is very friendly and nice. Will definitely come back again!

Breakfast was good, but wasn't clear what was included until I spoke to staff, who were super helpful and friendly.

Great to be part of the jazz bar. Room was straightforward, a little basic but is all i needed and price reflected that. Handy to have a sink in the room when its a shared bathroom.

Noisy at night. Room was beside shared bathroom. The sink in my bathroom was the size of a large Tupperware container. Impossible to brush teeth because there was a glass shelf over the tiny sink.

Location was fantastic, could walk to get to most places. And had transit for the rest. The room was just enough to lay our head, it was clean. We didn't eat breakfast there but they did have it available.
