Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Canadalocation close to many of my daily destinations. Great commercial district. Wonderful parkland nearby; close to waterfront attractions. Staff truely interested in your wants during your stay; cleaned every day. Super quiet, early lights out. Good night's sleep. Good fresh-air ventilation. Temperature control easy to adjust.

United StatesVery bare minimum which is fine because it’s the best price in downtown Toronto. You pay for a bed to sleep and a bathroom/shower to use and that’s exactly what you get. Rooms are clean, location is great, and staff is very friendly.

CanadaNoisy foot steps upstairs at times,, but minimal. The Lighting for the room can use better light. It was kinda dark in the room for make up getting ready purposes. Still manageable !
Micro suite ....had everything you needed. Microwave, sink, fridge, window, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Comfy bed. Nice smell throughout the entire hallways. Office hours open til 10pm. it's safe, and the staff are really welcoming.

CanadaThe facilities are not convenient as a solo traveler. Their bathroom is not comfortable and stinky. No kitchen. I don't recommend for the travellers. No privacy and not enough space for luggage.

CanadaNot really sure about drawbacks: Say, thicker matresses by, maybe, an inch - or firmer foam-rubber mattress.
Wonderful stafff; cleanliness; good location for me, just around the corner from Le Gourmand! Reasonable deal for extended stays.

CanadaThe winter weather; no one's to blame I pray.
I have appreciated the absence of cooking facilities during the full length of my stay. It simplifies the daily maintenance and so the cleanliness can only be enhanced. I've taken my meals at a nearby grocery.

PakistanOne of my worst stay i could ever imagine, although location is ideal but the accommodation is extremely poor and bad . I booked a 9night stay but later moved to Richmond through airbnb because of the unhygienic environment, bad people in my dorm. If you want to spend sleepless nights with extremely bad environment that ruins your trip then book this place. Highly unsatisfactory 👎🏻👎🏻

CanadaBathroom in 6-person dorm rooms is a tiny room with a completely glass door/wall covered by a teeny tiny shower curtain. Needless to say using this bathroom would be incredibly awkward and difficult in a room full of strangers. Sink in bathroom is also so small that it's pretty much unusable. Bunk beds in dorm rooms are rickety and uncomfortable with absolutely no privacy. Plus there's nowhere to actually lock your belongings so you just have to trust that the random strangers you're staying with won't steal your stuff. And hostel looks very sketchy overall; like somewhere a bunch of meth users would hang out.

CanadaThe non-trust partner with Booking.com and the fact that I was asked twice to provide additional government ID cards to confirm the reservation. My understanding is that if clients come from the Airbnb app, they gain more credibility.
The person responsible for the property was very kind and helpful with the clients, unlike in Montreal, where I was in the same type of accommodation. Definitely, I will come back.
