The bathroom was very small and the rooms are more on the compact size when compared to others in Banff. The spa pool was very noisey didn’t sound quite right. The foyer would benefit some music or something to create come ambience. Maybe teething issues?

The Kenrick was well put together with modern decor and comfy beds. The aesthetic is nice and the staff friendly and helpful.

we love the room. it is spacious for the family and our suitcases. it is walking distance to downtown and to the meeting place of our tour. staffs are all helpful esp Sony.

Newly refurbished so still some teething issues but nothing major.

Brilliant newly refurbished hotel, lovely rooms and great spa. Excellent location close to the action of Banff centre but far enough out to be quiet. Perfect.

A ramp instead of stairs up the little hallway to the upper floor rooms would have been more helpful, especially with large and heavy luggage

The Kenrick Hotel is a new and charming boutique hotel located perfectly along Banff Ave. Interiors are well-designed and thoughtful; attention to detail quite obvious. Loved the colors, furniture, bed, and overall feel of the hotel and the room. The staff were attentive and helpful...special mention to Mark and the staff who assisted us with our luggage down the stairs. Would definitely stay again!

Don’t pay up for the room with “mountain view”. The pictures are deceiving and you see more of the main street in front of the window than the mountains in the background. Personally, with the description and photos here on booking I assumed a view out the back and more privacy.

Beautiful hotel with an amazing spa/pool area - great for couples! Good location right in Banff with all restaurants etc in walking distance. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.

The lobby smelled of chlorine from the pool I assume. Our room smelled of heavy cleaning products each day, but went away when we aired it out. Considerable construction noise during the day outside our back door which was right above the dumpster. The staff hung out there each night, talking loudly in the back alley outside our door between 10-11 p.m. keeping us awake. We were on the 3rd floor but still very loud. In hindsight we should have requested for another room and staff might have accommodated us, but hotel was fully booked.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to help us with reservations and directions. The room was very clean and comfortable. Nice, modern ammenities. We appreciated the free parking and the great location. Although the pool was closed, we enjoyed the jacuzzi.

Missing the basics! No inhouse restaurant or coffee shop or bar to sit and have a drink. Had to walk out to the restaurant next door for breakfast. The door to our room led into the bathroom area. Room large but very dark - not enough lighting but there was a patio light on all night illuminating the room which could not be turned off. Only 2 hangers, no hooks to hang coats. No safe in the room. The chest of drawers were almost impossible to open. Very stiff with impractical handles that your fingers just slipped off. It was priced as a resort hotel, almost as much as The Rimrock but no comparison!

TV's didn't work in both rooms because they upgraded us to a different room and then that TV didn't work 😕

The amenities wasn’t open during my stay which was very disappointing. Think it’s a bit unfair for us to pay the same price when we didn’t get to enjoy the sauce & pool. Definitely check with the hotel to see if everything is gonna be open before you book.

Very expensive for what you actually get past the chic finish. Couldn't shut the door to the bathroom as the door was too close to the toilet. My travelling companion's room was exactly the same. I am a UK size 8 so pretty slim - very odd design, or failure of design. The lighting in the room was so dark that I had to use my torch to make a cup of tea. The lights on the balconies are set so that they are always on, not making for a good nights sleep if you hate artificial light all night. The fridge had been fitted wrong so that I had to slam it to make it close. The drawers are terrible - so difficult to get in and out that I ended up not bothering. Only 2 coat hangers provided. No safe. Some of these points are nit-picking, but at this price point I expect more. It looks lovely, but that it where the good points end.

Great hotel. The staff is super kind and helpful! We asked for extra water a few times and they were always happy to provide that. The hotel is extremely clean and quiet. The facilities (pool, sauna, hot tub) were also amazingly clean and well maintained. Overall a great stay right in the heart of Banff town center.
