The air conditioner was so loud that I couldn’t get a good night’s sleep and kept waking up. The hotel is too old, and the facilities are not in good condition. The water pressure in the shower and bath was very weak. The price is too high for the quality of the facilities. I was looking forward to breakfast because of the good reviews, but it wasn’t much different from other hotels. A staff lady handed out food one by one, so it wasn’t a comfortable buffet-style experience. The dining area was small, and it wasn’t easy to find a seat.

The staff were exceptional. Each and every one of the team from the front desk, to the catering staff were extremely friendly, interested and engaging. The evening buffet (free for guests) offered really good food - nothing hugely fancy but good, tasty meals, breakfast too! Bedroom was a great size and very comfortable bed!

    We loved Carowinds had a wonderful time.

    We loved Carowinds had a wonderful time. The art museum was very educational. There is so many places to eat. We settled on Olive Garden. We also went to Stars and Strikes, very family friendly outing. The crime in Charlotte is horrible though. A couple of cars got broken into at the hotel in which we stayed and we were right beside the outlets in a nice neighborhood, so just be aware. Aside from that Charlotte was nice.

    The hotel is close to restaurants, other hotels and stores close to get to by car. There is a large mall close by. I was not their to explore the city of Raleigh. Plan to go back to sightsee more of the city.

    It was a nice location.

    It was a nice location. We were attending a funeral in REIDSVILLE, NC and it was easy to get there and return. This was explained when I made reservation which was helpful as well in making my decision.

    Walkable town full of art, music, eateries with vegan options, and eclectic shops. I loved the drum circle Friday night. We took the hilarious ghosted bus tour, visited Biltmore, hiked the Graveyard Fields and Falls, visited NC Arboretum and the must see Omni Grove Park Inn where we saw a bear! Thank you for the wonderful southern hospitality experience!

    Everything was awesome in Fayetteville from traveling around...

    Everything was awesome in Fayetteville from traveling around town to going to welcome center for information about the area was awesome. Traveling around was not as bad as being in Charleston SC. Less stressful. I'm looking forward to transitioning to Fayetteville.

    We loved our stay!

    We loved our stay! Me and my husband were on our honeymoon and couldn’t have asked for a better place to be. We were directly on the beach. Our hotel room didn’t have an ocean view but that was okay! Still a really short walk to the beach. Kill devil hills doesn’t have a downtown area, but it’s got a lot of shops and restaurants within walking distance. It’s right by kitty hawk and nags head which also have a lot of restaurants. I will say alot of the shops close really early though! Another bonus is how close to manteo, and Corolla KDH is!! We did day trips and had the best time !!

    I visited family. Lots to do in the spring. Duke Gardens were beautiful. Many restaurant/coffee shop choices. I had local guides so knowledgeable of walking neighborhoods and local trails very helpful. Easy to drive around. Helps to know what is available from those who live there. Not sure how I'd access info if I did not have a local connection.

    We loved staying in Cherokee.

    We loved staying in Cherokee. The weather was beautiful while we were there. We were able to enjoy The Oconaluftee River and visited the Oconaluftee Indian Village. We came back in the evening for the outdoor drama, Unto these Hills. We're so glad we did. I highly recommend seeing this outdoor drama. The shopping in Cherokee was fun. The only thing I couldn't find was a deck of cards with the Cherokee emblem on them, as a gift. We hope to return again because we enjoyed it so much. If you haven't been, I highly recommend it!

    Overall prices were okay.

    Overall prices were okay. One of the biggest concerns was how close the overhead power lines were located to many of the places (including the motel) we visited! It's my understanding that these present a health hazard, in addition to just being unsightly.
