Kinsale is a wonderful town, fantastic independent bars and restaurants, lovely unique boutique shops. Architecture is exceptional, literally is something for everyone. The only negative is it’s far too popular! Very busy and hard to park, I’m a dog owner and very difficult to experience the whole experience like having meals or shopping as most businesses don’t allow dogs except guide or assisted dogs. It’s more obvious when it rains as there’s literally know where to go with your dog.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Lovely town with shops and pubs lining the street - very walkable from the guesthouse . People are friendly which made my stay even nicer. Well worth visiting since there is a strong feeling of community and festivals throughout the year. I look forward to returning in the future!Guest review bySheilaUnited States - 10.0

Quaint little town, with the Irish hospitality you would expect and hope for. A few memorial musuems and sculptures, but the people in the town are what we enjoyed most. Even you aren't a drinker, going into a pub and having water or tea, can turn into an unforgettable moment.Guest review byCaptain BruceUnited States - 10.0
Bantry is a terrific town.
Bantry is a terrific town. It's busy in the summer with a nice mix of locals and tourists. It's easy to walk around everywhere. There are plenty of accommodation options for all pockets! There's a fun market on Friday mornings until about 3pm right on the square. You'll find everything from fantastic food trucks to crafts to clothes to antiques! There are lovely shopstoo. Organico health food emporium and cafe is well worth a visit, as is the craft shop next door. There's a helpful bookshop and many interesting boutiques. There are also various charity shops worthy of the treasure hunt. There's a decent library on the hill and a cinema with current movies. There are at least three fantastic music and literary festivals every year. It's also home to a stately home with gardens and events, Bantry House. There are boat trips to Whiddy island which is like stepping back in time. A beautiful way to spend a day. To top it all Bantry is located within easy reach of many wonderful places; Glengarriff, Sheep's Head, Allihies and many more!Guest review byPrendergastIreland - 8.0
We have been to Blarney many times over the years.
We have been to Blarney many times over the years. Many places to eat or if you rent an Airbnb, you can find prepared meal at the local stores. We go to Ireland for the music and there are many sessions at some of the local pubs. They may be hard to find because they are mostly known by the locals.Guest review byPhilipUnited States - 10.0

We spent little time during the day in Skibbereen itself. We selected it as a central point to stay as we explored Mizen Head and other areas in the region. In the evening we went to The Corner Bar to listen to trad music. We were warmly welcomed and had a wonderful time.Guest review byMichaelUnited States - 10.0

First Class - excellent staff throughout the Hotel - highly professional and friendly with it. Main dining room has to be experienced - attendance is an event in itself. Lovely food served in a timely way. Waiting staff are great to watch at work and they do what they do in a quiet but showy way. Lovely to sit in the hall and enjoy the two log fires and the comfy arm-chairs. A relaxing stay at a lovely hotel in a great location. Old fashioned but we like it that way - no squeaky floorboards - calm and quiet.Guest review byAlasdairUnited Kingdom - 8.0

We were only passing through and stayed for one night. It's an easy place to find your way around in. Has a number of good pubs for a drink or two and good restaurants. We had an excellent dinner at Salinas Bistro which does a mix of Middle-Eastern and Irish dishes.Guest review byJanetCanada - 10.0
