A very beautiful city on the banks of the Neckar River.
A very beautiful city on the banks of the Neckar River. It has some beautiful buildings and architecture and has retained much of the charm in the old town. Every retail unit is open and bustling, with a nice vibe in town. I didn't get time to get onto the water, but would like to try that next time. I wasn't au fait with the nightlife in town, but many of the food outlets closed at 8pm (midweek).Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The wooden edge of the beds are very uncomfortable, I kept hitting my legs when getting in and out of bed, perhaps the edges should be covered at least with a sheet. We managed to visit the old, medieval city centre of Freiburg, it is beautiful! The Munster Freiburg Cathedral dated back since 1200, is worth to visit.Guest review byEveUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The experience of visiting Karsluhe during X mas time is magical. Make sure check out all X mas markets, including Children's market where the characters of fairy tales come "alive". The main town square is a huge X mas town. I would advise to see the market during daytime and evening when the lights make everything so beautiful. There were different festive areas in the city, including big skating ring, with lots of lights. Make sure check city's website about X mas markets.Guest review byYevgeniyaUnited States - 10.0

Ulm has many interesting parts, from the market on Saturday, the fishery village and a really great michelin star restaurant bi:braud in the Büchsengasse 20 and of course the Münster. Sadly at the moment one of the nicest museum is closed. There is much to see close by too.Guest review byGisella - 6.0
The water tower (Wassersturm) is nice.
The water tower (Wassersturm) is nice. Otherwise, there's not much notable in Mannheim. I was there for reasons of family history and should have spent 3 days instead of 5. There are more interesting places to visit in that part of Germany.Guest review byStevenUnited States - 10.0

It was really a trip I will remember, I found the people wonderful and helpful. There is also so much to do and see, and if you are English like myself - I did not once struggle with communication. We travelled with an EV car and the infrastructure is great - not one hiccup.Guest review bydeonklUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Of course, Europa Park is the main draw to Rust, with amazing attractions, shows and food but there is a lot more in the town of rust, with lots of lovely restaurants and bars, as well as an abundance of options to stay to suit any budget. There is good transport around the town with the 'Rust-Bus' running around the town, but from the "Europa Park Hotel" end of the town, to the park entrance is a 20 minute walk, so nothing too strenuous.Guest review byKingNemesisUnited Kingdom - 8.0
I only stayed 1 night, as a stop on my way to Italy.
I only stayed 1 night, as a stop on my way to Italy. Lovely city, I will for sure go back (and likely tour the whole lake). Only downside is to get there: roads were packed as hell, with lots of traffic jams. Much like the Italian lakes.Guest review bySebastienBelgium - 10.0
Small town but a lovely get away!
Small town but a lovely get away! Two main spas were a good experience-- appears all the tourists go there. Food is lovely, lots of places to walk around in. Great town to either walk or cycle around. Good hikes around the town. I went in May, nice and quiet, not too many tourists. Highly recommend the casino- absolutely beautiful!Guest review byJeannieUnited Kingdom
