York is a truly magical city that beautifully blends rich history with modern charm. Walking through its cobbled streets, ancient city walls, and quaint alleyways feels like stepping back in time. Highlights like the York Minster, Clifford’s Tower, and The Shambles offer endless photo opportunities and fascinating stories. The city is also very walkable, with cozy cafés, local shops, and riverside walks around every corner. We especially loved the vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere — perfect for families and couples alike. Whether you're into history, culture, or simply enjoying a good afternoon tea, York is a delightful destination that leaves a lasting impression. Highly recommended!Guest review byAbdul RahimSingapore - 6.0
Disabled.
Disabled. Heading CC despite frequent reassurances of help from Yorkshire cc office failed totally. The entire ground does not possess a wheelchair. Even for a Test match. Ground staff were fantastic & made up for office incompetance. Should have saved £500.00+ quid & watched it on Sky! Top tip if visiting Yorkhire CC & disabled, Don't or practice getting around on all fours Yorkshire at it's bestGuest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Been going to Scarborough since i was a toddler, I'm now 66yrs old and still love it . It has everything for a great holiday, and lots of nearby places to visit if you wish to . Not many seaside places have managed to retain its appeal for every age group . Beaches , fun fare , amusements , theatres, miniature railway, open air theatre, sea life centre , a great town centre with plenty of shops , great places to eat and chill out with a pint . Can get around without the car , all day bus tickets go everywhere. From along the sea front , to York , or get the train to Whitby for the day. Can do as much or as little as you like. The pirate ship sails and the speed boat rides are a must . Love itGuest review bySylvia /RabUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Although Wakefield is not a pretty town to walk around, it is definitely worth visiting for two excellent art institutions - The Hepworth Wakefield (wonderful museum opened in 2011 - beautiful building, excellent collection and temporary exhibitions; and as a bonus - very good cafe) and Yorkshire Sculpture Park - a huge territory with sculptures/site specific installations by Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Andy Goldsworthy, James Turrel and many more internationally renowned artists; plus wonderful temporary exhibitions. Both places - a must see!Guest review byAnnaRussia
