Borehamwood felt like a safe place with ordinary not too posh shops, not gentrified. Not pretty, but that wasn't important to me that day! There were a few breakfast places to choose from, none crowded, with good level of choice and good prices. Good public transport links by bus and Thameslink train service. Semi rural on the outskirts when you get on a bus, which I enjoyed.Guest review byCarolaUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Potters Bar has plenty of restaurants and bars.
Potters Bar has plenty of restaurants and bars. The Old Manor pub was really nice. It's easy to get into London. We stayed there because of family living in the area, otherwise we would probably stay closer to central London.Guest review byCarolynNetherlands
