Loved the keyless entry/building security. The room was very modern, clean, and the location was great (close to the plaza). There is an amazing cocktail bar in the same building where the bartender has created all kinds of unique infused cocktails.

Maximalist style of decoration was very engaging. Always some little detail to uncover. Not overwhelming. Owners' Serat and Sons shop (from which decor sourced) down the street was a great experience as well. Courteous staff.

The Cathedral and San Miguel Chapel are a must.

The Cathedral and San Miguel Chapel are a must. The interior of the Cathedral is a fine example of Spanish Mission style with native decorative color patterns and art. The adobe buildings of the Plaza give a wonderful Southwest old-town feel. The art shops are numerous. One cannot leave without purchasing a personal item made from local turquoise. The Loreto Chapel and the magnificent spiral staircase is worth the time.

Two "MUSTS" for Santa Fe PLAZA, both there for many years:

Two "MUSTS" for Santa Fe PLAZA, both there for many years: 1. Go to the "Five & Dime" for terrific variety of gifts, snacks, T-shirts, drugstore stuff, hotdogs, etc. at very reasonable prices. 2. Go to THE PLAZA Restaruant for a good meal alongside all the "Regulars." Probably a lot of artists go there.

The complimentary breakfast was delicious with many options. The pool area was surrounded by pretty garden. The afternoon tea and cookies was a nice treat. The hotel is walking distance to the plaza and the river walk.

This hotel really is a gem and the staff were always helpful. The hotel captures the NM style and is filled with excellent native american art. The location is a short walk to the plaza and the rail depot area. Parking was plentiful and the place is just beautiful and not sterile like a chain hotel. This was out third time staying here.

Hotel Chimayo de Santa Fe was a fantastic place to stay . We have stayed several times over the past few years. The location can't be beat and the staff is friendly and ready to help with anything that arises. The rooms are spacious and clean. We love to hang out in the inner courtyard in the evenings to play cards. it is a lovely space filled with flower pots and hanging ristras . The hotel is a short walk to the plaza, many restaurants as well as shopping and landmarks.

The location was wonderful. Less than a block from the Loretto chapel and only a few blocks from the plaza All the restaurants and shops were in easy walking distance but the hotel felt quiet and set back from the crowds. Appreciated the on site self parking for very low fee. We were able to access our vehicle at any time during our stay.

The location was perfect. Just off the Plaza and very close to the galleries on Canyon Road. The entire property was quaint and cozy with many small buildings. Felt more like a casita than a hotel. The hotel lobby, dining, and courtyard patio were lovely. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I've stayed at several hotels in Santa Fe. They were all nice but I particularly loved the cozy, New Mexican feel of this property. This will be my first choice for a return trip.

Lovely room and mine was one with a gas kiva. Cosy, very nicely decorated and fresh looking, with a comfortable bed and pillows and a nice breakfast buffet with hot food included. It’s a motel type setup operated by the famous La Fonda hotel in Santa Fe. The property is in a great location to walk to the Plaza and environs and a block away from Cerillos road, a main road in Santa Fe so super convenient. I was there off season so it was very affordable, and I would definitely stay here again – felt I had stumbled upon a hidden gem.

Can’t beat the location. It’s probably the only hotel under $200 in walking distance to the plaza, which is why I stay there when I’m in Santa Fe. The staff is always nice, the rooms are meh- what you expect at a Motel 6. If you’re on a budget in Santa Fe, this is a good place.
