This is a city full of history and culture.
This is a city full of history and culture. With over 100 art galleries, dozens of museums, and unique dining, you will enjoy a visit here. The mountains make a beautiful backdrop around the city, and the weather is nice. There are many things to do, such as visiting the historic town Plaza, the farmers market, Canyon road, local shopping and dining, as well as nearby trips to ancient native ruins, petroglyphs, parks, etc. Google Things to Do in Santa Fe and you will see what I mean. The city is also an hour from Albuquerque, which has additional highlights with seeing and can be easily done in a day and have you back in Santa Fe by evening. I grew up here so I might be biased but overall Santa Fe is an interesting place to visit, especially if you are an artsy or outdoor person. There are great restaurants, galleries and stores to check out. And of course you have a lot of hiking in close proximety. The only thing I would say is it might not be the most exciting place to go with Teenagers and you might have to work hard to keep them entertained.Guest review byHannahUnited States - 10.0

Santa Fe is a beautiful place. We have visited this city a couple times before and enjoy it each and every time. The food is good and there are a lot of restaurants to choose from. We loved the Loretto Chapel, the La Fonda Hotel with its La Plazuela Restaurant - excellent. The main plaza is wonderful to stroll thru the shops and galleries. Plus, if one enjoys art galleries - check out Canyon Road. We enjoyed an awesome lunch at Clafoutis French Bakery & Restaurant, worth checking out.Guest review byBarbaraUnited States - 10.0

Santa Fe is an interesting place to visit. So much history. Lots of museums galleries and points of interest. We've traveled a lot and have rarely been to a place where people are so uniformly happy and welcoming. Lots of wonderful restaurants.
