Andon Ryokan is a 5-minute walk from Minowa Subway Station and a 20-minute walk from the historical Asakusa. Boasting award-winning architecture, the hotel offers a hot tub, bicycle rentals and Japanese-style rooms with free wired internet. Guest rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) flooring with traditional futon bedding. Each room is equipped with a TV and a DVD player. Toilets and bathroom facilities are shared. The Ryokan offers cultural activities such as tea ceremony and flower arrangement classes. There is a launderette on site for guests’ convenience. Andon offers a selection of delicious Western breakfasts, which are cooked to preference and served in the common kitchen. Ryokan Andon is a 10-minute journey from downtown area Ueno.

My hobby is traveling all over Japan and always stopping by antique shops to collect rare, cute and nostalgic items. While working as a lubricant for customers from all over the world and from all over Japan, I would like to create a good relationship with the awareness of "connecting" to everything. My hobbies are traveling, collecting antiques and cooking, so please enjoy the rare things in the museum throughout the four seasons. I was born in Tokyo and Dad used to be an eel restaurant and I helped him from a child so I make Tokyo Japanese Ishii familia foods every days. On February 4, 2020, we opened the antique teahouse "Fukuando". The interior also incorporates your favorite old materials, making it a more enjoyable space. The tableware also uses old vessels collected from all over Japan, so you can feel some nostalgia. We provide breakfast and dinner, and at the nearby Adachi market, we purchase seasonal fish and vegetables, so that customers can feel the four seasons of food. There are also local people, so I hope you will enjoy drinking and eating as a place to interact in the downtown area.
