In 15 acres of private grounds, this hotel boasts spectacular views over Portree Bay to the Cuillin Mountain range. It has an award-winning restaurant and a range of whiskies on offer. The quality is very high for the price. The room is extremely spacious, perfectly clean, with huge bathroom (which actually includes a bath). The bed is SO large and comfortable we did not want to leave it. The view from the dining room is an experience in itself. Above all, all the staff was friendly and seemed happy.

This property was top notch in every category, Comfort and space, amenities, and the VIEW!!! The location was perfect for us! We were just minutes from the Quirang Walk, Old Man of Storr, and other gorgeous viewpoints on the northern part of the isle. Staffin has two small grocery stores. The Hungry Gull is a popular place for take away or eat in breakfast and lunch. If Portree is on your itinerary, it is only a 30 min drive. The hostess was welcoming, offered helpful tips, and suggested places to visit that we hadn’t been aware of. Don’t hesitate to book this incredible gem!!! If we get the chance to return, we are definitely booking here again.

The room, the breakfast, the location: everything is perfect ! The kindness of the host is also amazing.

We had to check into 6 hotels on this trip and this is really the best! Love the location, the cabin was very well laid out, equipped with everything you need! We were suitably impressed by all the finer details like the coffee machine, even facial tissues in the bathroom drawer. The bed was comfortable and warm. Slept like a baby. The kitchen was small but well equipped. Well appointed cabins, love the view. Just love it. My hubby and I were completely satisfied.
