We had a lovely stay with my family. The winter scenery was stunning with sunset on the frozen river. Location is great, very close to Umeå, yet already quite wild with immediate access to the river and the forest with several Nordic ski trails. The house is tiny but comfy with all you need for a short stay. The landlord lives in the house next to it, very friendly.

Situated by the E4 highway, this hotel is 1 km from central Umeå. It offers free parking, free gym access and all rooms have free Wi-Fi internet. Umeå Teg Airport is a 7-minute drive away. Very good breakfast. You can use pool and sauna.

Set in a former medical officer’s villa, this central Umeå hotel is 100 metres from the Ume River. Sauna, relaxation area and WiFi access are free, as is a light evening buffet. It used to be a medical center and the room is unexpectedly spacious, comfortable. The staffs are very friendly. It has an indoor parking garage. Breakfast is good. You can make your own waffle, coffee for whole day. Nice and relax. Walking distance to the nice surroundings. Definitely stay again if we visit this place again.
