Unfortunately a lot of trash washes onto the beach, but Volker makes a valiant effort to remove it. The important thing is that Atauro Island has one of the healthiest corals reef in the world and marine biologists say it has the greatest biodiversity in the world. Anyone interested in coral reefs simply MUST go there.”
