Fond of plants (mainly Alps) and birds (mainly Europe) but amazed about all living organisms.

I try to be careful when doing IDs but I'm always happy to learn from others. Comments and discussions on any observations or taxa are welcome and appreciated.

I'm also helping to describe new species of Dalbergia spp. (rosewoods) from Madagascar so I'll have a look at these from time to time.
