I dpkg removes a package but can't remove directories because they are
not empty, it reports in german

dpkg - Warnung: Während Entfernens von mc-common ist Verzeichnis
»/etc/mc« nicht leer, wird daher nicht gelöscht.

This is gramatically incorrect and doesn't sound good at all.

I propose to write instead.

Das Verzeichnis »/etc/mc« konnte nicht entfernt werden, da es nicht leer
ist.

The complaint is fully justified. However, you should not lose the information
which package is concerned. Thus something like

dpkg - Warnung: Während des Entfernens des Pakets mc-common konnte Das
Verzeichnis »/etc/mc« nicht entfernt werden, da es nicht leer ist.

is better.
