Description
PORTABLE GLOVE FOR HAIR STYLING
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The present invention can be included in the technical field of brushing, in particular for hair styling both in humans and in animals.
More specifically, the object of the invention refers to a glove used for hair styling in a more intuitive, easier and safer way.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Currently, there is a great amount of tools using heat to stylize hair; for example, flat irons, brushes, curling irons, thermal curlers, among others; however, all of them have some drawbacks when being used; as for example, they do not provide protection against burning, sometimes they are complicated to use, some of them do not allow regulating the temperature properly, which could cause burns in the hair and damage thereof, furthermore, most of these apparatuses are not portable, thus limiting use thereof with a wall connection.
Some of the already existing tools related to the present invention, such as those shown in patents US4,766,914 and US8,245,715; which are provided with styling mechanisms similar to the present invention; for example, they use partial hand gloves with finger sections where there are instruments for combing and cutting the hair. Documents US4,620,374 and KR20170082678 describe devices in the form of gloves carrying a hot air drying system. Documents KR20170052296 and CN201319890 describe gloves for hair styling having spikes or bristles incorporated therein.
However, the patents mentioned above do not comply with all the functionalities that may adapt to the general public, since these were designed for a specific user: professional stylists. Therefore, considering the above documents, it is necessary to find alternative directed to a wide range of possible users, going from women with conventional jobs who wish to stylize their hair, to people that stylize animal hair. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention describes an apparatus that uses heat both for hair straightening and curling, combing it at the same time, and that provides for easy hair handling since it is a glove which can be adapted to both hands.
The invention is an efficient solution to the difficulties of working the hair when brushes or combs and flat irons or dryers have to be managed at the same time. Furthermore, due to the materials the invention is made of and the way these are arranged, it involves greater safety to avoid burns in the hands.
The innovation of the present invention lays in that hair can be stylized by using our own hand directly, and it also provides for scalp protection, and upon regulating the temperature it adapts to the needs of all types of hair, also by being provided with a rechargeable battery it eliminates the need for always being connected to a power supply.
Therefore, it is a first main object of the present invention a glove for hair styling comprising:
- an inner layer in contact with the user's hand formed by heat insulating material,
- an outer layer formed by a heat conducting material,
characterized in that the outer layer comprises:
- a plurality of blisters having variable sizes and shapes located at the palm area and fingers area of the glove, and
- the back of the outer layer formed by a heat insulating material comprising:
- a heat source connected to a rechargeable battery, and
- a control panel comprising an on/off button and temperature regulator buttons. This consists of a glove made up of two layers: the first one, the inner layer, plays a heat insulating role since it is in contact with the skin of the user's hand; the second one, the outer layer, plays a heat conducting role since this is in contact with the hair to be treated. The glove is covered both in the palm and in the fingers area by numerous bristles. The tip of the bristles is covered with a non-conducting material so as to avoid burns in the scalp. The blisters play the role of giving style and shape to the hair. At the opposite side of the palm of the hand, the glove is provided with a control panel where there are arranged, for example, the on/off button, the temperature regulator and the panel where the real temperature of the device can be seen, and a charge indicator led. The glove is actuated with power from a battery which is also incorporated in the opposite part of the palm of the glove. This battery is rechargeable by means of a USB cable which adapts to any power adapter. The USB port is located in the glove's wrist.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
To implement the present description being made and in order to provide a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, according to a preferred practical embodiment thereof, a set of drawings is attached as part of this description, with an illustrative but not limitative purpose, which represents the following:
FIG 1 .- It shows a view of the back of the right hand glove.
FIG 2.- It shows a view of the palm of the right hand glove and it shows an enlargement of the razors.
FIG 3.- It shows a view of the back of the left hand glove.
FIG 4.- It shows a view of the palm of the left hand glove.
PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
The glove is intended to be used with the hands; a hand is introduced in the glove, either the left hand (FIG 3 and 4) or the right hand (FIG 1 and 2), it is turned on, the temperature is regulated and it is ready for immediate use.
FIG 1 and 2 show the two layers which the glove is made up of: the outer layer (1) is of a heat conducting material; on the other hand, the inner layer (2) consists of a heat insulating material, which prevents the user's hand from heating; and lastly, FIG 1 , shows a section of the back of the glove (3), not including the fingers and consisting of an insulating material so as to prevent the control panel, where it is in, from heating; for example, the on and off button (4), the rechargeable battery (5), a USB port (6), a display (7) indicating the current temperature, temperature regulator buttons (8), and a charge indicator led (9). Also FIG 1 shows that the fingers area is completely surrounded by bristles (10).
FIG 2 is a view of the palm of the glove showing bristles (10), which may have different arrangements as desired. The bristles cover all the palm of the hand. They may vary in the shape and size thereof. FIG 2 also shows an enlargement of the glove bristles (10). FIG 2 was used for exemplifying triangular-shaped bristles (10); however, their shape may vary. The tip (11) of the bristles is made of a non-heat-conducting material, to avoid burns in the scalp. FIGs 3 and 4 show the views of the back of the left hand and the palm of the left hand, respectively.
