Abstract

The present invention relates to a system (1) which provides private cloud-based solution for multiple SIM card usage occurring in the form of dual SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card usage in the same terminal or different singular SIM card usage in separate terminals. The inventive system (1) comprises mobile device (2), cloud approval center (3), query unit (31), inventory storage (32), verification unit (33), provisioning unit (34), matching unit (35).

Description

A SYSTEM FOR MULTIPLE SIM CARD USAGE Technical Field
The present invention relates to a system which provides private cloud-based solution for multiple SIM card usage occurring in the form of dual SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card usage in the same terminal or different singular SIM card usage in separate terminals.
Background of the Invention
Today, multiple SIM card usage particularly dual SIM card usage - is widely preferred because of various reasons and evolving needs. Dual SIM card usage can be preferred in the form of usage of two SIM cards in the same terminal and it can also be preferred as different singular SIM card usage in separate terminals. In such multiple SIM card asages, subscribers have to carry different SIM cards and/or a plurality of terminals -in other words mobile devices such as mobile phone, tablet computer · with themselves physically.
In the current technique, more than one SIM card must be inserted in telephones supporting multiple SIM card which is usually known as "dual line" or "dual SIM card" in the market no matter from which mobile communication network service is taken physically. When such telephones are not preferred, a necessity occurs such that a different telephone must be carried tor every physical SIM card. And this leads to difficulty of use for subscribers.
In the state of the art, when problems experienced by subscribers in multiple SIM card usage are considered, it is understood that there is need for a solution wherein SIM cards belonging to every subscriber can be defined and managed in a cloud medium and thus it is ensured that multiple SIM cards can be used in a single mobile device.
The United States patent document no. IJS2013017862, an application in the state of the art, discloses a system which enables SIM cards of a subscriber, who has a single mobile identity and has at least two or more lines, to be used together.
The International patent document no. WO2013025806, another application in the state of the art, discloses a system which enables a roaming subscriber in a contracted mobile service provider to use the international mobile identity where s/he roams instead of his/her own international identity during roaming.
Summary of the Invention An objective of the present invention is to realize a system which provides private cloud-based solution for multiple SIM card usage occurring in the form of dual SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card usage in the same terminal or different singular SIM card usage in separate terminals. Detailed Description of the Invention
"A System tor Multiple SIM Card Usage" realized to fulfil the objective of the present invention is shown in the figure attached, in which: Figure 1 is a schematic view of the inventive system.
The components illustrated in the figure are individually numbered, where the numbers refer to the following: 1. System

N. Communication network A system (1 ) enabling multiple SIM card usage comprises:
- at least one mobile device (2) which is used by a subscriber in order to benefit from services provided by a mobile communication network operator and matched with a mobile cloud SIM card number;
- at least one cloud approval center (3) wherein verification and definition transactions necessary for matching standard SIM cards with a mobile cloud SIM card number and which ensures that the standard SIM card is activated on the communication network (N) such that it is matched with the mobile cloud SIM card number after these verification and definition transactions;
- at least one query unit (31) which is included within the cloud approval center (3) and query and compliance control of the standard SIM card is made before its match with the mobile cloud SIM card number;
- at least one inventory storage (32) wherein all mobile cloud SIM card numbers distributed after regulation and licensing are stored;
- at least one verification unit (33) wherein verification steps are performed before matching and provisioning of the mobile cloud SIM card number;
- at least one provisioning unit (34) wherein matching steps are directed to all end systems and results related to the matching step are determined and managed, retrospective examination details are stored;
- at least one matching unit (35) wherein matching of the mobile cloud SIM card number with the standard SIM card is completed. (Figure 1) The mobile device (2) is a device which is used by a subscriber in order to benefit from services provided by a mobile communication network operator, and matched with a mobile cloud SIM card number.
The mobile cloud SIM card number is a number which is original and specific for every subscriber. These original mobile cloud SIM card numbers are stored in the inventory storage (32). In the mobile device (2). there is one standard SIM card as inserted so as to be matched with the mobile cloud SIM card number by means of the cloud approval center (3).
The cloud approval center (3) is a unit wherein verification and definition transactions necessary for matching standard SIM cards with a mobile cloud SIM card number and which ensures that the standard SIM card is activated on the communication network (N) such that it is matched with the mobile cloud SIM card number after these verification and definition transactions. The cloud approval center (3) is a unit which runs in a private cloud area that is entirely specific to the user. In one embodiment of the invention, the cloud approval center (3) is a unit structured such that it can be defined for a family or an institution and run in a common cloud area consisting of a plurality of private cloud areas.
The query unit (31 ) is a unit which is included within the cloud approval center (3) and query and compliance control of the standard SIM card is made before its match with the mobile cloud SIM card number. The inventory storage (32) is a unit wherein all mobile cloud SIM card numbers distributed after regulation and licensing are stored. The verification unit (33) is a unit wherein verification steps are performed before matching and provisioning of the mobile cloud SIM card number. The provisioning unit (34) is a unit wherein matching steps are directed to all end systems and results related to the matching step are determined and managed, retrospective examination details are stored.
The matching unit (35) is a unit wherein matching of the mobile cloud SIM card number with the standard SIM card is completed.
With the inventive system (1), a private cloud based solution is provided for multiple SIM card usage occurring in the form of dual SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card usage in the same terminal or different singular SIM card usage in separate terminals. When providing the said solution, transaction of defining a mobile cloud SIM card number the subscriber and the subscriber mobile device (2) by means of identity authentication method together with the cloud approval center (3) services is carried out at first. The mobile cloud SIM card number is a number that is original and specific for every subscriber. These original mobile cloud SIM card numbers are stored in the inventory storage (32). Then, transaction of matching this defined mobile cloud SIM card number with other standard SIM card numbers of the subscriber is carried out. All matching and provisioning transactions are carried out in the cloud approval center (3). Thus, it is ensured that a subscriber can use dual SIM card in a single terminal when a single physical standard SIM card is inserted in his/her mobile device (2). As can be understood by a person skilled in the state of the art, it is possible for standard SIM card number and mobile cloud SIM card number to be used with different profiles by a subscriber like a number given to institutions/individuals, workplaces/houses, relatives/a number given to public. Operational needs of other standard SIM card numbers where the subscribers are matched with the mobile cloud SIM card number are followed and operated by the mobile communication network operator. In one embodiment of the inventive system (1 ), access is provided to the subscriber by means of mobile or web interface for operation and use of personal use inventory by the subscriber about the mobile cloud SIM card number owned by the subscriber. With the inventive system (1), it is ensured that a subscriber can match his/her standard SIM card with the said mobile cloud SIM card number at any time, from anywhere and by any mobile device (2) with a single mobile cloud SIM card number that s/he will own. With the inventive system (1), all standard SIM cards that the subscriber matches with his/her mobile cloud SIM card number can be changed, deleted, activated, closed, transferred, directed to a different mobile cloud SIM card number and redefined. Within these basic concepts; it is possible to develop various embodiments of the inventive system (1), the invention cannot be limited to examples disclosed herein and it is essentially according to claims.

Claims

CLAIMS 1. A system (1 ) enabling multiple SIM card usage; comprising:
- at least one mobile device (2) which is used by a subscriber in order to benefit from services provided by a mobile communication network operator and matched with a mobile cloud SIM card number;
- at least one cloud approval center (3);
- at least one query unit (31 ) which is included within the cloud approval center (3) and query and compliance control of the standard SIM card is made before its match with the mobile cloud SIM card number;
- at least one inventory storage (32);
- at least one verification unit (33) wherein verification steps are performed before matching and provisioning of the mobile cloud SIM card number;
- at least one provisioning unit (34) wherein matching steps are directed to all end systems and results related to the matching step are determined and managed, retrospective examination details are stored;
- at least one matching unit (35) wherein matching of the mobile cloud SIM card number with the standard SIM card is completed;
and characterized by
- at least one cloud approval center (3) wherein verification and definition transactions necessary for matching standard SIM cards with a mobile cloud SIM card number and which ensures that the standard SIM card is activated on the communication network (N) such that it is matched with the mobile cloud SIM card number after these verification and definition transactions;
- at least one inventory storage (32) wherein all mobile cloud SIM card numbers distributed after regulation and licensing are stored.
2. A system (1) according to Claim 1 ; characterized by the communication device (2) wherein mobile cloud SIM card numbers that are original and specific for every subscriber are stored.
3. A system (1) according to Claim I; characterized by the mobile device (2) wherein one standard SIM card is located as inserted so as to be matched with the mobile cloud SIM eaid number by means of the cloud approval center (3).
4. A system (1 ) according to Claim 1 ; characterized by the cloud approval center (3) which runs in a privaie cloud area specific to the user.
5. A system (1) according to Claim 1; characterized by the cloud approval center (3) which is structured such that it can be defined for a family or an institution and run in a common cloud area consisting of a plurality of private cloud areas.
