Abstract
A digital pre-distortion processing method and apparatus, the method comprising: acquiring an input signal of a power amplifier and an output signal of the power amplifier (S201); updating a pre-distortion coefficient, according to the acquired input signal and the acquired output signal, when it is determined that the acquired input signal meets a set threshold value (S202); then, determining a fitting error according to the updated pre-distortion coefficient, the acquired input signal and the acquired output signal (S203); and finally, adjusting the set threshold value according to the fitting error and the adjacent frequency leakage ratio of the output signal after the pre-distortion coefficient is updated (S204). In the technical solution, the signal after the pre-distortion processing is acquired to determine a threshold value. The pre-distortion coefficient is updated and the set threshold value is adjusted using the acquired signal when it is determined that the acquired signal meets the set threshold value; therefore, determining the threshold value for the signal after the pre-distortion processing acquired next time using the adjusted set threshold value is more reflective of non-linear distortion characteristics, thereby improving the pre-distortion processing performance.
