Description

CAMPO TÉCNICO DE LA INVENCIÓN  TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to the technical fields of mechanics, and medicine, mainly; because it provides a container and a packing-holder to contain suture materials; where said packing-support allows rapid removal of suturing materials, at the time a suture is made.
ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓN BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
At present, packages containing suture materials are very impractical to use, because their configurations do not allow quick and safe removal of suture materials; they require special and expensive machinery for packaging said suture materials within such packages; they do not have adequate protection of suture materials, causing high risks of contamination of said materials, among other inconveniences.
For example, patent document US5906273 Bl describes (the numerical reference corresponds to the numerical reference of the figures of said patent document) a suture gasket (10), which is formed of an oval tray or tray, with an area flat center (12) and a raised edge (14) projects upwards from the base of the flat central area (12), at a certain height and at a final orientation of 90 °. An inner peripheral wall (16) extends substantially at right angles in the flat area (12) substantially co-extensively with the raised edge (14), defining a channel (18) with a V- shaped cross-section , U "to receive and roll up a suture filament. Tabs (20) Suture fasteners are articulated connected at the raised edge (14) and has a latch latch openings (22) and hook projections (24) to join the rear projections (26) of the inner peripheral wall (16). the suture is placed in the channel (18), the eyelashes can be folded inwardly over the channel (18) to retain the filament filament wound, the latches (24 and 26) cooperate to keep the eyelashes in closed position. The suture of patent document US5906273 also has a space (28) for placing a needle for surgery, which extends from the flat area (12) to approximately one of the ends of the gasket (10). (28) has u n pair of needle clips (30 and 32) of biased and rigid cut. The lower part of the needle holder (30) has been biased to allow the conical ends of the supra-adjacent fastener (30) to bend and bend when the needle is inserted. Therefore, the biased needle holders (30) can accommodate a wide range of needle sizes, rather than the rigid needle holders (32). A portion of the inner wall (16) is removed in the region of the needle housing (28) to form an opening (38) in the channel (18) whereby the suture extends from the access of the channel (18) between the tabs [20 f ) and (20 "). The bottom of the channel (18) has perforations (40 and 42) around its circumference, to assist in the bagging a suture arrangement. The suture package may comprise a cover (160), see figure 3, which serves to prevent contamination of the needle and cover the tip of the needle to prevent accidents, such as punctures.
As can be seen, conventional suture gaskets lack anti-skid areas, safe and durable protection of suture materials, means for rapid removal and removal of suture materials, and due to their complex structure makes it difficult to pack suture materials, requiring special machinery.
Therefore, in order to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks, a container and packaging-support containing suture materials was developed, whose characteristics and additional advantages are more clearly understood in the detailed description of the preferred embodiment thereof, given by means of a non-limiting example with reference to the attached figures, in which:

It should be noted that the description of the present invention illustrates some of the preferred embodiments of the invention, which should not be considered as a limitation on the scope of protection of said invention.
In the first instance, the present invention relates to an open container (1) for use in a support package containing suturing materials, preferably; such materials may be filamentous, such as threads, strands, filaments, sutures, fibers, hoops, torzales, ropes, etc., which may be attached to a sharp suture material, such as needles, barbs, hooks, punches, etc.
Said container is configured of a substantially rectangular-oval laminar base (2); which is circled completely by a perimeter wall (3), which originates from the edge of the laminar base (2) and projects perpendicularly towards the upper face of said base (2). Where one of the novelties is that the periinetral wall (3) has at least one anti-skid surface (4) in its external parts; it being preferred that the anti-skid area is located on the longitudinal sides of the container (1), The anti-skid area (4) can be any means that causes a grip to avoid the slippery surface of the perimeter wall (3). So the anti-skid area (4) can be formed by undulations, grooves, protrusions, cavities, to name a few examples, thus a combination between them.
In one embodiment of this invention, it is preferred that the anti-skid area be at least one undulation (4) on each longitudinal side of the container (1); strategically located to allow a better grip of the container (1) by a user, such as a doctor, surgeon, nurse, among others.
The container (1) also has an internal wall (5) that projects perpendicularly on the upper face of the laminar base (2), towards the same direction of the perimeter wall (3), whereby said internal wall (5) it is substantially coextensive with the perimeter wall (3), being located within the area delimited by the perimeter wall (3), but both walls (s 3 and 5) separated from each other; to form an open channel (6) where a filamentary material for suturing (7) is housed, such as those mentioned above. A clamping mechanism (8) is provided to the container (1), to hold at least one stitched suture material (9); wherein said mechanism (8) is located on the surface of the laminar base (2) that is surrounded by the inner wall (5), and more preferably attached to the inner wall (5), as seen in Figures 1, 2 and 3
Also the container (1) is provided with a groove (a 10) substantially in the form of an inverted "C", to remove the stitched suture material (9), with some extraction tool, such as a clamp. This groove is made close to the clamping mechanism (8), so that with the extraction tool, the portion (11) that is included in the groove (10) can be pushed down, to facilitate the clamping of the suture puncture material (9).
In one embodiment of the present invention, it is that the container (1) can comprise at least one interruption (14) in the inner wall (5); it being preferred that this interruption (14) be close to the clamping mechanism (8), as seen in figures 1, 2 and 3.
It should be clarified that said filamentary material for suturing (7) is housed in a coiled manner in the open channel (6) of the container (1), surrounding the inner wall (5); and the needle (9) is inserted into the clamping mechanism (8), as seen in Figure 3.
Therefore, the present invention also relates to a support package containing suture materials, which is formed of: an open container (1), such as the described in the present invention; and a lid (12) is provided to cover the upper part of the open container (1), thus providing protection to the suture material (needle and thread). The lid can be a conventional lid or wrap.
A preferred embodiment of the lid (12) is when it has a substantially oval rectangular laminar body, like the base (2) of the container (1); with at least one anti-skid surface (4 ') at its perimeter edge (3'), which coincides with the anti-skid surface (4) of the perimeter wall (3), of the container (1), as to its shape, dimensions, location and number; and also has a perpendicular wall (13), on its lower face, in a position that allows a pressure assembly with the inner wall (5) of the container (1). Being a suitable position of the perpendicular wall (13) in a position that makes contact with the internal parts of the inner wall (5) of the container (1),
A further embodiment of the packing-support of the present invention is when the lid (12) comprises at least one tongue (16) at its perimeter edge (3 '), when it is desired to remove the lid (12) from the container (one); where one embodiment is that the tongue (16) is located at one of the ends of said cover (12), to facilitate its removal.
Una realización más de la presente invención es cuando la tapa (2) comprende además: al menos, una interrupciónA further embodiment of the present invention is when the cover (2) further comprises: at least one interruption
(14') en su pared perpendicular (13), que coincide con la interrupción (14) de la pared interna (5) del contenedor(14 ') in its perpendicular wall (13), which coincides with the interruption (14) of the inner wall (5) of the container
(1), to form an opening when assembling the container (1) with the lid (12); and a perforation (15) in its laminar surface, in the area delimited by the perpendicular wall (13), which has dimensions and a shape that should expose: to the clamping mechanism (8) to allow access to the tool to extract the sharp material ( 9), to the opening formed by the interruptions (14 and 14 '), and a section of the channel (6), for the extraction of the filamentous material (7), without the need to remove the cover (12).
As you can see, with this packing-support, the user can remove the suture material (needle with its thread) in two ways, one of them is without removing the cover (12), by means of a clamp to hold the portion of the needle (9) that is exposed by the perforation (15) of the cover (12) and pull, so that the thread (7) goes out through the opening formed by the interruptions (14) and (14 ') of the walls perpendicular (5 and 13) of the container and the lid (12), unwinding the thread of the channel (6). The other way is that the user, with one of his fingers, can remove the cover (12) by exerting a slight force on the bottom of the tongue (16), once the cover (.12) is removed, the suture material ( needle and thread) is fully exposed and free; and thus hold and pull the sharp material (9), to also extract the filamentous material (7) from the channel (6) more quickly and easily, since as it has been seen, this container does not have tabs on its channel ( 6), such as conventional packaging containers; Therefore, the extraction of filamentous material (7) is faster and easier. It is also avoided that any part of said filamentous material (7) is tied, tangled, or torn at the time of being used in the suture of a surgical operation, where time is vital. It facilitates the packaging (rolling) of said filamentous material (7) for suturing, and in addition there is a saving of material and time for the manufacture of the packing-support of the present invention.
In this way, a support package is obtained for containing and extracting suturing materials, in accordance with the present invention, which has the following advantages:
