Abstract

La présente invention concerne un rail de toit de véhicule (1) comprenant un élément rail (10 ; 110) et au moins un capuchon (30 ; 130), l'élément rail ayant un intérieur creux (12 ; 112) et étant pourvu d'au moins un trou traversant (13 ; 113) débouchant dans l'intérieur creux. Le capuchon (30 ; 130) est conçu pour recouvrir ledit ou lesdits trous traversants (13 ; 113) et a une forme qui correspond à la forme du trou traversant. L'élément rail (10 ; 110) est pourvu d'un premier ensemble d'éléments de verrouillage (14, 15 ; 114, 115, 116, 117), et le capuchon est pourvu d'un second ensemble d'éléments de verrouillage (34, 35 ; 134, 135, 136, 137). Le premier ensemble d'éléments de verrouillage comprend des éléments de verrouillage qui sont conçus pour entrer en prise de verrouillage avec des éléments de verrouillage du second ensemble et empêcher ainsi un mouvement relatif du capuchon et de l'élément rail. Au moins un élément de verrouillage (14, 15 ; 114, 115, 116, 117) du premier ensemble d'éléments de verrouillage est situé à l'intérieur de l'intérieur creux (12 ; 112) de l'élément rail (10 ; 110), et est conçu pour entrer en prise avec un élément de verrouillage correspondant (34, 35 ; 134, 135, 136, 137) du second ensemble d'éléments de verrouillage, lorsqu'un élément de verrouillage correspondant du second ensemble d'éléments de verrouillage du capuchon (30 ; 130) est inséré dans l'intérieur creux (12 ; 112) de l'élément rail (10 ; 110), et le capuchon (30 ; 130) étant réalisé d'une seule pièce.
