Abstract

Sliding storage accessory

Background of the invention

The present invention relates to the field of storage accessories and storage structures on which such storage accessories can be mounted; such storage units are generally intended to equip living areas, such as the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, garage, or any other room in a house or apartment.

It is known that the average living space per person, especially in urban areas, tends to decrease, particularly because of the high price of real estate. However, the number of possessed objects continues to grow, so that individuals need more and more storage solutions.

To store things, it is known to use cupboards or cabinets, or to set shelves to a wall. However, cupboards and cabinets are bulky storage systems, sometimes difficult to install and not very flexible. In addition, more and more stores offer furniture or shelves to assemble oneself, which can be tedious. Not only is it not easy to fix shelves to a wall, but it becomes particularly complex if we must then move them, for example to change the arrangement of shelves. In addition, storing objects in a closet or cabinet can make these objects difficult to access, especially when the closet or cabinet is particularly deep. Similarly, when different storage accessories are attached side by side on a storage structure, access to the objects supported by the storage accessories can be complicated. An object of the present invention is to provide a storage accessory that is simple to install while being modular and allowing easy access to the objects it is intended to support.

To do this, the invention relates to a storage accessory to be mounted on a storage structure, the accessory comprising a deployable base comprising: first and second fasteners configured to be removably attached to the storage structure;

first and second guide rails respectively extending from the first and second fixing devices; and a presentation support comprising first and second support arms slidably mounted on the first and second guide rails.

The storage structure is fixed, for example by screwing, to a vertical wall, such as a wall or a partition. The fastening devices of the storage accessory are thus arranged to be removably attached to the storage structure, without tools.

The presence of the first and second fasteners makes it easy and quick to mount the storage accessory on the storage structure; in addition, their removable assembly facilitates the use of the storage accessory, and allows to easily change its layout, so as to adapt to the needs of the user. This simplified installation also allows the user to move or remove storage accessories that he no longer uses, or to replace them with other storage accessories.

The presence of the first and second guide rails and the sliding mounting of the presentation support facilitates the use of the storage accessory, which can thus take, alternatively, a retracted position in which the presentation support is slid so as to be closer to the storage structure, for example to allow closing the closet doors or the cabinet when the accessory is mounted in such a piece of furniture, and an extended position, in which the presentation support is removed from the structure of storage, so as to facilitate the handling of objects arranged on the presentation medium, or to facilitate the establishment on said object carrier.

The storage accessory thus optimizes the space available to the user for storing his objects, without compromising the ease of handling of said objects when they are supported by the storage accessory according to the present invention.

Preferably, in the deployed position, the presentation support is cantilever with respect to the guide rails. The invention is described below in a series of alternative embodiments, which may be considered alone or in combination with one or more of the previous ones.

In some embodiments, the presentation medium further includes at least a first link device extending between the first and second support arms.

The presence of the first connecting device facilitates the use of the storage accessory, and more particularly the sliding of its presentation support on the first and second guide rails, by solidifying the first and second with each other. support arm. The first connecting device thus makes it possible to limit the risk that the sliding is blocked, due to a desynchronized movement of the first and second support arms.

In some embodiments, the accessory further includes a storage device removably mounted on the deployable base.

The addition of the storage device makes the storage accessory suitable for storing and presenting different types of objects, which contributes to the versatility of the storage accessory according to the present invention. In addition, the removable mounting of the storage device allows to modify the functionality of the storage accessory without replacing its deployable base.

The invention thus also relates to a storage kit comprising a deployable base and a plurality of storage devices configured to be removably mounted removably on the deployable base.

In some embodiments, the presentation medium includes a display frame having first and second transverse edges to which the first and second support arms are attached, the storage device being removably mounted on the display frame.

Preferably, the second support arm comprises third and fourth retaining members, identical to the first and second retaining members.

Advantageously, the first and second holding members respectively comprise a first opening and a second engagement opening configured to open towards the storage structure when the storage accessory is mounted on said storage structure.

It is understood that the storage device is introduced by the first and second engagement openings to be engaged with the first and second holding members.

Preferably, each of the first and second holding members comprises at least a first stop perpendicular to the first support arm and a second stop remote from the first support arm and transverse to the first stop to maintain the storage device relative to the presentation support.

Preferably, the second stop is perpendicular to the first stop. It will be understood that the first stop makes it possible to hold the storage device horizontally relative to the presentation support, while the second stop serves to prevent vertical movement of the storage device with respect to the presentation support.

Still preferably, the first holding member is disposed between the first fixing device and the second holding member, and the first holding member further comprises a stop member disposed between the first stop and the first fixing device.

The abutment member, associated with the first stop, makes it possible to block, or at least limit, the horizontal displacement of the storage device with respect to the presentation support.

The abutment member is preferably perpendicular to the first support arm. In some embodiments, the storage device is taken from a receptacle, a tray, a towel rail, a trouser rack or a shoe rack.

The diversity of the storage devices that can be mounted removably on the deployable base makes it possible to adapt the storage accessory to different types of objects, and thus to adapt it to different uses and / or different users. In addition, thanks to the invention, the user can change the characteristics of his storage accessory, to create his own storage system to suit his needs and desires. In other words, the storage accessory according to the invention is easily customizable.

In some embodiments, the storage structure has at least a first upper cross member and at least a first lower cross member that are parallel and transversely spaced from each other, and the first fastener has an end portion. upper shaped to cooperate with an upper portion of the first upper cross member, and a lower end portion shaped to cooperate with the first lower cross member.

In some embodiments, the upper end portion of the first fastener forms a hook which is arranged to cooperate with the first top cross member.

In some embodiments, the upper end portion of the second fastener also forms a hook that is arranged to cooperate with the first top rail.

The hook shape of the upper end portions of the first and second attachment devices of the storage accessory further enhances the ease and strength of the removable attachment of the storage accessory to the storage structure. Preferably, the hooks engage with the upper portion of the first upper cross member.

After the removable attachment of the storage accessory to the storage structure, its first and second fasteners are secured to the storage structure by the fact that the part upper end of the fasteners cooperates with the upper portion of the first upper cross member. Moreover, when the storage accessory is hooked to the vertical wall through the storage structure, its fasteners come into contact with at least the first lower crossbar of the storage structure, in order to stabilize the fasteners in a vertical position.

In some embodiments, the storage structure includes first and second posts configured to be secured, for example on a vertical wall, spaced apart from each other, and the first and second mounting devices the storage accessory is configured to be removably mounted to the first and second posts, respectively.

Detailed description of the invention

The storage unit 8 according to the present invention comprises first of all a storage structure 10, represented in particular in FIG.

For example and without limitation, the storage structure 10 comprises a first and a second uprights 20, 120 extending substantially parallel to one another. The storage structure 10 could include a storage frame in which the first and second uprights 20, 120 would be connected to each other without departing from the scope of the present invention.

The first upright 20 further comprises a first upper cross member portion 30, a second upper cross member portion 32, and a lower cross member portion 34. Similarly, the second post 120 includes a first upper cross member portion 130, a portion second upper cross member 132, and a lower cross portion 134; the portions of first upper cross member 30, 130, the second upper cross member portions 32, 132 and the lower cross member portions 34, 134 of the first and second uprights 20, 120 respectively form a first upper cross member, a second upper cross member and a bottom rail.

As shown particularly in Figure 1, when the uprights 20, 120 are arranged so that they extend in a substantially vertical direction, the sleepers extend in a substantially horizontal direction.

Furthermore, the portions of crosspieces 30, 32, 34, 130, 132, 134 of the first and second uprights 20, 120 of the storage structure 10 have, for example and without limitation, circular cross sections.

The first upright 20 further comprises an upper attachment means 40 which has a fixing hole; similarly to the first upright 20, the second upright 120 also includes an upper attachment means 140 having a fixing port.

The storage unit 8 according to the present invention also comprises a storage accessory 50, an example of which is shown in FIG. 1; the storage accessory 50 is configured to be removably mounted to the storage structure 10, and more particularly to each of the first and second uprights 20, 120.

The storage accessory 50 first includes a deployable base 52 having first and second fasteners 54, 56 spaced from each other.

As shown in particular in FIG. 2, the first and second fasteners 54, 56 of the deployable base 52 each comprise a body 58, 60 here having the shape of a substantially rectangular plate. The first and second fasteners 54, 56 comprise an upper end portion 62, 64 each forming a hook and a lower end portion 66, 68. The upper end portions 62, 64 and the end portions lower 66, 68 respectively extend from the upper and lower ends of the body 58, 60.

The bodies 58, 60 of the fixing devices 54, 56 each have a front face 58a, 60a and a rear face 58b, 60b opposite to the front face, the front face being that facing the vertical wall M on which the structure storage 10 is fixed by its fixing means 40, 140.

The rear faces 58b, 60b of the fasteners 54, 56 are substantially planar and have a coating layer 65 whose utility will become more clearly apparent thereafter.

The first and second fasteners 54, 56 cooperate with the cross members 30, 32, 34, 130, 132, 134 of the first and second uprights 20, 120 to allow the removable attachment of the storage accessory 50 to the structure storage 10.

It is conceivable without departing from the scope of the present invention a presentation support 74 comprising only the first and second support arms 76, 78 not necessarily connected to one another.

The presentation frame 80 has, for example and without limitation, a substantially rectangular shape and comprises first and second transverse edges 82, 84, in which are fixed, for example by welding, when the different elements are formed in a material. fuse, or by any other method of attachment, the first and second support arms 76, 78, and first and second longitudinal edges 86, 88 which extend between the first and second transverse edges 82, 84.

The first and second longitudinal edges 86, 88 thus constitute connecting devices that extend between the first and second support arms 76, 78.

As shown in FIG. 4, for example and in a nonlimiting manner, the sliding of the presentation support 74, and more particularly of its first and second support arms 76, 78, with respect to the first and second guide rails 70, 72 is permitted by a ball bearing system. It is understood that the deployable base 52 can thus take a first position, represented by FIG. 2, in which the presentation support 74 is slid on the first and second guide rails 70, 72 so as to be brought closer to the storage structure. 10; more particularly, the first longitudinal edge 86 is disposed near or even against the bodies 58, 60 of the first and second fixing devices 54, 56. The storage accessory 50 also includes a storage device 100 that is configured to be removably mounted to the deployable base 52.

As shown in particular in Figure 1, the storage device 100 is removably mounted on the presentation frame 80 of the presentation medium 74; the storage device 100 thus has a peripheral edge 102 and a storage body 104, in this case a shoe rack, which extends downwardly from the peripheral edge 102, when the storage device 100 is mounted on the frame 80 of the presentation support 74 of the deployable base 52. The peripheral edge 102 is thus dimensioned so as to bear against the presentation frame 80, and more particularly against the upper surface of its transverse edges 82, 84 and its longitudinal edges 86, 88, while the storage body 104 is passed through the opening 90, and extends under the presentation frame 80 defining the opening 90.

For example and without limitation, the peripheral edge 102 has a substantially rectangular shape and has transverse edges and longitudinal edges configured to be disposed respectively against the upper surface of the transverse borders 82, 84 and longitudinal 86, 88 of the presentation frame 80 when the storage device 100 is mounted on the deployable base 52.

The storage device 100 is thus mounted in a stable and removable manner on the deployable base 52, so that it can also be alternately remote and close to the vertical wall M on which the storage structure 10 is fixed.

It is therefore understood that in order to mount the storage accessory 50 on the storage structure 10, the first and second fixing devices 54, 56 from which the first and second guide rails 70 extend are fixed first, 72 on the first and second uprights 20, 120 of the storage structure 10.

The presentation support 74 is then mounted on the first and second guide rails 70, 72.

One could conceive a storage accessory 50 whose presentation support 74 would be previously mounted on the first and second guide rails 70, 72 so that the steps mentioned above would be reversed.

The second stops have the function of preventing inadvertent lifting of the storage device.

As can be understood from FIG. 9, the first holding member 200 is disposed between the first fixing device 54 and the second holding member 202, and the first holding member further comprises an abutment member 220 disposed between the first stop and the first attachment device.

The abutment member 220 extends parallel to the first abutment 208 of the first holding member 200, so that they together make it possible to limit the horizontal displacement of the storage device 100 "'with respect to the support arms.
