Definitions
- the present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to an information feedback method for downlink data and related devices.
- the fifth generation of mobile communication technology needs to support ultra-high data transmission rates, massive number of connections and low data transmission delays to meet the needs of different scenarios.
- the main scenarios of 5G mobile communication in the future include the following three types: enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB), Massive Machine Type Communications (mMTC) and high-reliability low-latency communication (Ultra-Reliable and Low). Latency Communications, URLLC).
- eMBB enhanced mobile broadband
- mMTC Massive Machine Type Communications
- URLLC Latency Communications
- the eMBB service is mainly for a service scenario that requires a higher data rate
- the mMTC service is mainly for a large number of connected service scenarios
- the URLLC service is mainly for a service scenario with a delay requirement and a high reliability.
- the delay of the data packet for the user plane needs to be in the millisecond (ms) level, so it is required to support transmission with less effort.
- HARQ Hybrid Automatic Repeat ReQuest
- the terminal After receiving the data packet, the terminal performs ACK/NACK (answer/non-response) feedback at the predetermined subframe position. For example, if the terminal receives the downlink data packet in the nth subframe, the terminal will perform feedback of the ACK/NACK information for the downlink data packet on the n+4th subframe. Therefore, there is a 4 ms delay in the data transmission and the corresponding feedback time in the HARQ mechanism of the conventional LTE downlink transmission. The design of this delay is mainly to simplify the traditional terminal design and consider the terminal processing capability. However, this design cannot be applied to some scenarios in the 5G that require high latency, such as URLLC.
