Abstract
L'invention concerne un dispositif de lecture de contenu vidéo portable et son procédé de fonctionnement. Selon la présente invention, le procédé de fonctionnement du dispositif de lecture de contenu vidéo portable comprend la réception par celui-ci d'un contenu vidéo correspondant directement par le biais d'un service de vidéo à la demande au travers d'un réseau de communication mobile ou d'un réseau local sans fil et la lecture dudit contenu lorsque l'intensité d'un signal sans fil est affaiblie pendant la lecture du contenu vidéo par la réception du contenu vidéo par le biais d'un service de diffusion multimédia numérique (DMB), ce qui permet à un utilisateur d'être assisté dans une visualisation continue du contenu vidéo correspondant.
