  1.  成形機を操作するユーザの職種に応じて、該ユーザを階層的に複数のグループに選別し、該選別されたグループに応じて、グループごとに付与した特定の操作項目が表示部に表示されるよう設定された成形機の操作方法であって、
     複数の前記成形機のうち、何れか一つの成形機に外部メモリを接続し、
     該外部メモリを接続した前記成形機の表示部に、表示したい操作項目を選択可能な画面選択画面を表示し、
     該画面選択画面で選択された操作項目と、前記表示部に表示したパスワード画面で入力した、ユーザ名及びパスワードとを、前記成形機に接続した前記外部メモリに記憶しておき、
     前記操作項目、前記ユーザ名及び前記パスワードを前記外部メモリに記憶するときに使用した成形機とは異なる他の成形機を使用するときに、
     当該他の成形機に前記操作項目、前記ユーザ名及び前記パスワードの記憶された外部メモリを接続し、その状態で、当該他の成形機の表示部にパスワード画面を表示し、該パスワード画面のパスワード入力欄で入力したパスワードが、前記他の成形機に接続された前記外部メモリに記憶されているパスワードと一致しているとして判定されたとき、当該他の成形機の表示部に、前記外部メモリに記憶されている前記操作項目を表示することを特徴とする成形機の操作方法。
