Abstract

Mounting Methods and Assemblies for Longitudinally Extensive Members An annular interface component of an attachment arrangement configured for attaching respective leading ends of a longitudinally extensive service member and a longitudinally extensive protection apparatus for said service member to an attachment element of an offshore structure is disclosed. The annular interface component can be securable to the leading end of the a longitudinally extensive protection apparatus and can include anexternal locking formation configured to cooperate with a locking formation of the attachment element to retain the interface component in fixed relation to the attachment element, an internal locking formation configured to cooperate with a locking formation of a pulling head to maintain the pulling head in releasable fixed relation to the interface component during a pulling operation, and an internal locking formation configured to cooperate with a locking formation of a leading end of the longitudinally extensive service member to maintain the longitudinally extensive service member in fixed relation to the interface component.
