Definitions
- the invention relates to the field of equipment for selective collection or disposal of waste or other garbage from households or industry, and according to International Patent Classification it is closest to B65B 67/12, indicated as sack holders, meaning the base or frame with bag lifting equipment, for easy charging objects or materials.
- waste selection at the source - plastic is collected in one container, paper in another, carton in the third, organic waste in fourth, glass in the fifth and so on, depending on the types of waste to be sorted and quantities of each type of waste.
- waste selection at the source - plastic is collected in one container, paper in another, carton in the third, organic waste in fourth, glass in the fifth and so on, depending on the types of waste to be sorted and quantities of each type of waste.
- For such a selective waste collection it is necessary to have adequate containers for disposal that take up place, as they have a considerable volume.
- special bags which, once they are full, need to be pulled out from the containers, as vehicles that would collect waste selectively are not in use.
- Waste containers are quite bulky and their delivery from the manufacturer to the end user entails higher costs due to shipping costs of large volume products. Furthermore, at the present time, when buying of goods moves on the Internet as a strong trend, where the delivery of ordered goods is performed by mail or courier service, the volume of the product that needs to be delivered to the end customer has become an important issue. Delivery of waste containers of 80 or 120 liters of volume, which are commonly produced for disposal in household and industry, will quickly fill up the volume of the pickup and it will unnecessarily occupy it, which leads to higher shipping costs. A user who wants and intends to selectively dispose the waste should have at least four bins for waste disposal. The delivery of these four buckets is a problem for end user, especially shipping cost. Assemblage modular waste bag holder for selective waste collection has many times smaller volume when transported between producers and end-users because it consists of separable elements and take up only few cubic decimeters in transit.
- the user allows the user to assemble from the set of elements, like Lego, the combination of holders for one bag, two bags, three, four, six or eight bags, according to user's needs.
- the user can also use only a part of these elements, that is the bag holder with lid that holds the bag open.
- Patent US 5411229 called BAG HOLDER protects the invention of a single bag holder, but the concept of such holder doesn't allow combining more holders in modular construction.
- the present invention relates to assemblable modular waste bag holders for selective waste collection in the households and industry at the point of its origin and it solves the primary problem of reducing shipping and packaging costs of the product, because the modular waste bag holder consists of several elements whose combinations allow the construction of a holder for one, two, three, four, six or eight bags, depending on customer's needs, and above all, the user can only use the frame without metal structures, which frame can be screwed on the wall or otherwise secured to a firm foothold (for Example pillar or tree in nature). Because the holder is actually made in parts, when packed it takes up very little volume in relation to the finished assembled product, which in the case of holder for four bags takes the dimensions that are larger than 150 cm x 80 cm x 45 cm. While these elements are packaged, they take up the dimensions of 110 cm x 45 cm x 12 cm, which is the volume of the product decreased over nine times.
- a secondary problem that is solved by the present invention is optimization in production of waste bag holders, because at least nine final products can be produced by combining various basic elements, thereby reducing operating costs, especially the cost of tooling for production.
- the same parts are manufactured as for two bag holder, with additional elements that relate solely to the frame that holds the bag.
- the third problem solved by the present invention is the suitability of the waste bag holder for using the bags of different volumes. For example, if the public utility company of a region uses 120 liters bags for separate waste collection, the holders for such bags shall not be suitable for 80 liter bags.
- This invention solves the issue of height adjustment for the bag holders, so that one holder for four bags can be adjusted in a way to carry two 80 liters bags and two 120 liters bags.
- the fourth problem solved by the present invention is to achieve mobility of the entire structure, because regardless of the performance, there is a possibility to mount four wheels on the bottom of the finished structure, whereby the waste bag holders actually transform into carts that allow separate collection of waste or other material. It is also recommended to mount the plate which carries the bottoms of the bags.
- the basic elements of the assemblage modular waste bag holder for selective waste collection are the two main supports that are made from solid materials, whether metal, plastic, wooden materials or other composite materials, whereby the main supports touch or rest on the surface in at least two points, which ensures stability of the waste bag holder, because this way it is stabilized in the four points.
- the horizontal support may be designed as a compact or can be made in segments which are connected by the compatible clip, which in the preferred embodiment is screwed with elements that make the horizontal support, but it can also connect by the screwless detachable connection, for example, the plastic insert.
- the horizontal support is carried out and produced in two main segments, that is as a single horizontal support with two angles or single horizontal angle support, wherein a single horizontal support with two angles is intended for embodiment of the narrow waste bag holders for one or two bags, while the single bag holder can be still carried out as a combination of two single angle supports, the single horizontal support and two clips.
- Each horizontal support is performed, regardless of the mode of performance, with at least one shaft for vertical support that is designed in the way that the vertical support and a corresponding shaft have the possibility of adjusting the total length, which enables the use of waste bags of different volume, for example, if a plastic bag has a volume of 80 liters, the total length consisting of a shaft for vertical support and a vertical support is smaller than it is in the case of length consisting of a shaft for vertical support and a vertical support by the use of the waste bags of 120 liters.
- this is accomplished in a manner that the shaft for vertical support and the vertical support are equipped with holes of appropriate diameter, through which is by screws fixed the desired height .
- Elements of the modular bag holder especially main supports, shafts for horizontal supports, horizontal supports, vertical supports and shafts for vertical supports and clips are usually performed by the profiled material either square or circular cross-section, whereby these materials may be full, but they may also be hollow to reduce the construction weight of the holder.
- the outer frame and the outer frame holder are made as one element, preferably from durable materials such as metal, whereby the inner frame is fixed to the outer frame holder with the pin. If a user wants to keep the bag on the holder closed to avoid insects or spreading the bad odors, or to prevent rain falling into the bag, there is a possibility to attach the lid using the same pin, in a way that lid rotates around the pin and opens and closes the bag opening, lying over the inner frame which is fixed to the outer frame.
- the inner frame as well as the lid and the pin are made by injection molding process from plastic resistant to weathering and UV rays.
- plastic resistant to weathering and UV rays there is no obstacle to be made of metal or other suitable material.
