Abstract
Machine (1) pour creuser des galeries, des tunnels ou analogues, comprenant un système de commande de tête d'abattage, lequel système comporte des moyens (36) pour mesurer en continu la position angulaire (α) de la tête d'abattage (2) en rotation et des moyens pour mesurer en continu l'angle de pivotement (γ) des bras porte-outils (4), ainsi qu'un ordinateur (27) qui est relié fonctionnellement auxdits moyens et qui coordonne la position angulaire (α) de la tête d'abattage (2) en rotation et l'angle de pivotement (γ) des bras porte-outils (4, 4´) de sorte que, pour chaque position angulaire (α) de la tête d'abattage (2), chaque bras porte-outil (4, 4') pivotant est positionné radialement, conformément à un profil de trajectoire de coupe déterminé, pour effectuer la coupe selon la trajectoire de coupe (5) déterminée.
