Abstract
The invention relates to a method for determining the performance (903) of a photovoltaic system (1030), comprising the following steps: accessing reference data (1031), which include reference condition data (103, 203) indicative of an operating condition of at least one component of the photovoltaic system during a reference time interval (105) and reference performance data (303) that are associated with the reference condition data and are indicative of an output of the component during the reference time interval; accessing actual data (1033), which comprise actual condition data (403, 503) indicative of an operating condition of the component during an actual time interval (405) and actual performance data (603) that are associated with the actual condition data and are indicative of an output of the component during the actual time interval (405); comparing the actual data (1033) with the reference data (1031) in order to obtain a comparison result; and determining the performance (903) of the photovoltaic system based on the result of the comparison.
