Abstract

L'invention concerne un polyuréthane thermoplastique qui peut être obtenu en faisant réagir au moins les composants suivants : un polyisocyanate contenant deux groupes isocyanate ; un polycarbonate contenant deux groupes réactifs vis-à-vis de l'isocyanate ; un allongeur de chaîne contenant deux groupes réactifs vis-à-vis de l'isocyanate ; un éther de polyoxyalkylène contenant un groupe réactif vis-à-vis de l'isocyanate, le ratio des groupes isocyanates du polyisocyanate a) sur la somme des groupes réactifs vis-à-vis de l'isocyanate du polycarbonate diol b), de l'allongeur de chaîne c) et de l'éther de polyoxyalkylène d) se situant dans la plage allant de 0,95 à 1,05:1. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé de production du polyuréthane thermoplastique de l'invention, ainsi qu'un appareil médical comprenant un polyuréthane thermoplastique de l'invention.
