Abstract
A hydraulic control system (48) is disclosed. The hydraulic control system may have a pump (52) configured to pressurize a fluid, an actuator (26), a position sensor (102) associated with the actuator and configured to generate a first signal indicative of a position of the actuator, and a circuit (50) fluidly connecting the pump to the actuator. The hydraulic control system may also have a valve (55) associated with the circuit and configured to move from a first position, at which fluid relief from the circuit is inhibited, toward a second position, at which fluid is relieved from the circuit through the valve, when a pressure of fluid within the circuit exceeds a threshold setting of the valve. The hydraulic control system may additionally have a controller (58) in communication with the position sensor and the valve. The controller may be configured to selectively cause adjust the threshold setting of the valve based on the first signal.
