Abstract

L'invention concerne une culasse (1) d'un moteur à combustion interne comportant au moins une soupape d'admission et une soupape d'échappement par cylindre, une soupape d'admission et/ou une soupape d'échappement étant agencées pour chaque cylindre de chaque côté d'un axe médian longitudinal (L) de la culasse (1), et les soupapes d'un cylindre étant groupées autour d'un injecteur (5) se trouvant approximativement au milieu de la surface de section du cylindre, ainsi que des leviers agissant sur les tiges de soupape (6) et actionnés par un arbre à cames et/ou des tiges-poussoirs (8). Des alésages (10) destinés à loger les injecteurs (5) partent d'une auge d'injecteur (9) orientée dans le sens de l'axe médian longitudinal (L), et des structures de réfrigérant sont agencées sensiblement directement dans la zone de l'injecteur et le fond de la culasse.
