Abstract
The present invention relates to a lamp cover having air pipes and to a lighting apparatus using same, in which one or more air pipes are arranged to effectively and quickly dissipate heat generated by a light-emitting module so as to lengthen the lifespan and improve the economical advantage of the lighting apparatus. For this purpose, one or more air pipes are arranged at the inner surface of the lamp cover such that the air pipes can be in communication with the external air. The outer surface of each air pipe is treated to reflect light emitted by a light source and has a polygonal shape. The air pipes are attachable/detachable to/from the lamp cover. The LED lighting apparatus using the lamp cover according to the present invention has a heat-dissipating frame which has a light-emitting portion formed at a side surface thereof. The side surface and/or a bottom surface of the heat-dissipating frame has one or more air pipe connection holes, such that external air is introduced into the heat-dissipating frame through the air pipes of the lamp cover to dissipate heat generated by the light-emitting module.
