Abstract
A system and method for look up table based predictions of prices of tradable assets have been disclosed. The system comprises scanning and collection means (12) to collect the news and events information items; classifier means (14) to classify the items; set creation means (16) to create sets to store the items which caused upswing, downswing or no swing in a particular tradable asset, particular sector of tradable assets, or entire exchange of tradable assets on the subsequent trading day; database creation means (18) to create database to store the created sets; input means (20) to input the queries of the users; processing means (22) to perform the function of prediction of a particular tradable asset, sector of tradable assets, or entire exchange of tradable assets using a look up means (24) and prediction means (26); and output means to display the prediction result.
