Abstract

The invention relates to a system and method for multi-microphone sound production, comprising the monitoring of one or more points of interest on a stage. A sound mixing table (210) mixes input signals (2100) originating from a plurality of microphones distributed across the stage and generates one or more output signals (2110). The mixing table can vary the intensity of each input signal. A processor (230) determines the intensity of each input signal as a function of the position of at least one point of interest on the stage and produces a control signal (2310) which specifies the intensity levels to the mixing table. The mixing table varies the intensities as a function of the control signal.
