Abstract

La présente invention a trait à des techniques permettant de générer des cartes de profondeur pour unités vidéo, telles que des images vidéo ou des images vidéo de tranches. Les techniques peuvent être utilisées par un encodeur d'images vidéo afin de convertir une vidéo bidimensionnelle (2D) en une vidéo tridimensionnelle (3D).
