Abstract
Such a hollow plate (10) is rectangular and to be incorporated into a heat exchanger. Each wall of said plate is formed by thermoforming and the two walls are welded to each other. The plate has a central hollow region (12) in the form of a parallelogram, and two end hollow regions (14-16) in the form of symmetrical right triangles. Its central hollow region (12) consists of a stack of a number of side-by-side parallel inner channels (181-12) having identical calibrated sections, bordered by continuous walls (131-2), and it comprises continuous lines of spacers having an external thickness (17-19) for the arrangement of outer channels, between two adjacent hollow plates. The triangular hollow regions (14-16) of the plate consist of stacks of superimposed parallel conduits (261-12 and 281-12) having identical calibrated sections that are especially weaker than those of said inner channels (18). Said conduits (26-28) are arranged end-to-end to the inner channels (18), with stacked free ends forming the diagonally opposing lateral apertures (30-32) of the hollow plate (10). A high plane full strip (40) enables the plate to be suspended from a high bar and a similar low strip (42) enables a low bar to be suspended therefrom. Said two bars enable the hollow plates to be arranged side-by-side at uniform distances. Two adjacent low bars form a line of calibrated narrow slits. The gas flows have uniform flow rates and temperatures at all similar sites. The coefficient of performance (CoP) of the heat exchanger is maximised. The invention can be applied to optimised air-conditioning systems for apartments, and to forced-air distillators reproducing the natural water cycle.
