Definitions
- the present invention relates to a multi-channel strip for a biosensor, and more particularly, to analyze a plurality of in vivo materials at once, including a plurality of reaction sections and a plurality of sample introduction sections in one strip.
- the present invention relates to a multichannel strip for a biosensor.
- Biosensors can be described as "a system that uses biological elements or mimics biological elements when obtaining information from an object to be converted into useful signals that can be recognized, such as color, fluorescence, and electrical signals.” Therefore, biosensor is a future fusion technology that requires science-wide technologies such as electronics, chemistry, biology, materials engineering, and enzyme engineering.
- biosensors The main fields of use for biosensors are medical, environmental, food, industrial, military, and experimental research. Among them, medical is the most widely used field, and most of the market size is mainly biosensor for glucose measurement.
- Biosensors have a small amount of required sample, high accuracy of measurement, low influence of surrounding environment, easy measurement and real time measurement. In addition, it is a product that is in the early stage of market entry in terms of market, and has a variety of fields of use and is expected to have high growth potential.
- examples of the sample introduction portion of the conventional biosensor can be largely classified into
- the sample introduction of the shaped structure has a structure in which a hole is formed at the end of the straight sample introduction passage to form a capillary tube.
- -shaped structure has a disadvantage in that the amount of the injected sample may change due to the phenomenon that the end portion of the passage is not completely filled or overflows depending on the viscosity of the sample injected through the sample introduction passage.
- it can be used only to analyze a single feature, and when a single biosensor strip is provided with multiple channels, the samples are mixed, which makes it difficult to measure each channel.
- the sample introduction portion of the? -Shaped structure has a structure that forms a straight passage from the side of the sensor to the opposite side.
- Such ⁇ shaped sample introduction part has the inconvenience of introducing the sample from the side, and it is difficult to use in strips for biosensors having multiple channels like the ⁇ shaped sample introduction part.
- the present inventors have studied in view of the above point, and the lower substrate having a plurality of reaction portions separated from each other and the upper substrate abuts with a portion of the upper portion of each of the plurality of reaction portions, the upper substrate having a sample introduction portion It is possible to simultaneously analyze a plurality of materials through a plurality of reaction units, the structure is simple, easy to manufacture, it is possible to manufacture a multi-channel strip for biosensors that can introduce a small amount of sample without pretreatment process. It was confirmed that the present invention was completed.
- the multi-channel strip for the biosensor of the present invention can analyze a plurality of materials at the same time in a plurality of reaction units, the structure is simple, easy to manufacture, and a small amount of samples can be introduced without pretreatment, and various samples It can be used efficiently for the analysis and diagnosis of various diseases.
- 1 is a three-dimensional view of a multichannel strip for a biosensor.
- FIG. 2 is a diagram of a multichannel strip for a biosensor.
- FIG 3 is a diagram of a multi-channel strip for a biosensor, characterized in that the tip of the sample introduction section extends orthogonally so as to open toward the lower substrate.
- the sample inlet 24 refers to the upper end of the sample introduction section.
- It provides a multi-channel strip for a biosensor comprising a.
- the lower substrate 1 having a plurality of reaction parts in which the regions of (a) of the present invention are separated from each other includes at least one, preferably 2 to 100, more preferably 2 to 10 electrodes. And reacting with the analyte to form on the electrode.
- the substrate may include a working electrode, a reference electrode, and / or a counter electrode, similarly to a biosensor for measuring analytes in a sample.
- the working electrode can be fabricated using carbon, graphite, platinum treated carbon, silver, gold, palladium or platinum components.
- the working electrode can be printed on the lower substrate using an ink consisting of carbon or platinum treated carbon, or an ink comprising palladium.
- the working electrode may be formed on the lower substrate by vacuum deposition using gold.
- the lower substrate of (a) may include a hydrophobic adhesive film 4 on the top in addition to the plurality of reaction parts. It is necessary to impart insulation to the lower substrate, and preferably can be prepared by selecting from the group consisting of polyester, poly vinyl chloride, polycarbonate, and mixtures thereof.
- the reaction unit may generate a reaction such as the following reaction formula.
- the reduced electron transfer mediator generated by the reaction between the substrate and the enzyme oxidizes the electron transfer mediator in the reduced state by applying a constant voltage to the working electrode based on the reference electrode or the auxiliary electrode.
- the analyte in the sample can be quantified by measuring.
- various in vivo materials may be used as analytes, and examples thereof include enzymes and metabolites in vivo.
- the enzymes include oxidoreductases such as glucose oxidase, lactate oxidase, cholesterol oxidase and alcohol oxidase; Glucose dehydrogenase, GOT (glutamate oxaloacetate transmianse) and GPT (glutamate pyruvate transmianse), such as transferases and hydrolases, and the like, the metabolites include cholesterol, lactate, creatinine, alcohol, blood sugar and the like.
- GOT glycoxaloacetate transmianse
- GPT glutmate pyruvate transmianse
- the amount of sample that can be used in the strip according to the invention is small, preferably 1 to 10 ⁇ l may be used.
- each of the plurality of reaction portions of the above (b) of the present invention provided with a plurality, preferably 2 to 100, more preferably 2 to 10 sample introduction portions (22, 23)
- the upper substrate 2 protects the electrode and the reaction section is divided 21.
- a plurality of samples may be introduced through the plurality of sample introduction parts, and the reaction parts may be completely separated by the upper substrate 2, and thus, the plurality of samples may not be mixed, thereby enabling accurate analysis.
- the air outlets 22 and 23 are provided so that when the sample is introduced into the reaction unit, the air filled in the reaction unit through the air discharge unit is introduced into the reaction unit while the sample introduced through the sample inlet enters the reaction unit. As it is discharged to the sample suction speed to the reaction unit can be further improved. That is, the strip of the present invention has the advantage of applying a rapid suction speed and a constant amount of sample by sample injection using a simple capillary phenomenon without using an absorbent pad.
- the sample introduction part may be located in both the transverse direction 22 and the longitudinal direction 23, and when manufactured thinner and longer, the injection efficiency is better. If one direction is used as the sample introduction part, the other direction is used as the air outlet part. Therefore, the sample introduction portion and the air discharge portion of the present invention "b" or "a" shape, or the bent portion in the shape is 90 ° or less, preferably 30 ° to 90 °, more preferably 60 ° to 90 It has a shape consisting of an angle of °.
- sample introduction portion of the present invention can be orthogonally extended such that its tip is open toward the lower substrate 10, as shown in FIG.
- the upper substrate may preferably be prepared from the group consisting of polyesters, polyvinylchlorides, polycarbonates and mixtures thereof.
- the present invention in addition to the above (a) and (b) it may include a cover (3).
- the cover protects the sample inlet from the outside to prevent evaporation or loss of each substrate fixed to the reaction unit and the introduced sample, thereby preventing their concentration change. This makes it possible to further improve the accuracy of the analysis.
- the cover can be made of any material commonly used, and preferably made of polyester, polyvinylchloride, polycarbonate.
- the multi-channel strip for biosensor of the present invention is capable of analyzing a plurality of materials at the same time, has a simple structure, is easy to manufacture, and a small amount of samples can be introduced without pretreatment. It can be used efficiently for the diagnosis of
