- the present invention further refers to a process for installing such closing system.
- Closing systems are known in the art, that are typically used for plugging shaped fittings used for intercepting ducts for transporting water, gas or other pressurised fluids.
- Such shaped fitting whose shape is substantially cylindrical, has a shaped end that is welded to the duct around the opening of this latter one, that it is necessary to plug: the upper opening, typically circular, is then equipped with an internal threading adapted to be engaged by a corresponding threading obtained on the circumference around a closing plug: in order to then proceed to close the duct intercepting fitting, it is necessary to place the plug inside the fitting opening, take the respective threading to mesh and rotate the plug with respect to the fitting itself till its complete screwing. It is clear that the above operations are extremely difficult in case of fittings and related plugs whose sizes and weights are big. Moreover, closing the plug onto the fitting would be severely difficult, if not even impossible, if dirt, debris or other residuals should be inserted between the threads.
- object of the present invention is solving the above prior art problems, by providing a closing system for a fitting in which the plug can be made integral with the related fitting without using an interposed threading, making the fitting plugging operation quicker, more practical and easier.

- the closing system 1 comprises at least one fitting 3, whose shape is preferably tubular with a symmetry axis designated by straight line S-S in Figures 1 and 2, having a first end 5 thereof adapted to be made integral, for example through welding or other suitable fastening means, around an opening of a duct and a second end 7 equipped with an opening 9, whose shape is preferably circular, adapted to house inside it at least one closing plug 11, preferably in a concentric position with symmetry axis R-R, such plug 11 being made integral with the fitting 3, and in particular inside the opening 9 of the second end 7 of the fitting 3 through at least three radial fastening pins 13, therefore having a symmetry axis P-P orthogonal to the symmetry axis R-R of the fitting 3 and the plug 11, each adapted to engage at least one respective perimeter and radial seat 15 of the plug 11 itself, passing through at least one respective housing seat 17 of the radial fitting 3, therefore also having a

- the shoulder 19 can have any other shape adapted to provide an abutment surface to the plug 11 and keep it in position inside the opening 9 of the fitting 3 to allow the insertion of the fastening pin 13 inside the housing seat 17 and engage the seat 15 of the plug 11.
- this latter one can be preferably made as at least one perimeter groove to the plug 11: in such a way, coupling between housing seat 17 and seat 15 can occur whichever the angular orientation of the plug 11 is around the symmetry axis S-S once having abutted again the shoulder 19.
- each one of the fastening pins 13 is equipped, at least partially, with an external threading 13a adapted to grip a corresponding internal threading to the housing seat 17 and with a fastening end 13b going out of the housing seat 17 to engage the seat 15 of the plug 11.
- the seat 15 could have the side walls not parallel but tapered, in such a way as to create an interference with the fastening end 13b of the pin 13 sufficient to consolidate the cooperation between seat 15 and pin 13 itself.
- every fastening pin 13 corresponding to the opening of the housing seat 17 communicating with the outside can be equipped with at least one seat 13c for inserting a tool suitable for screwing and unscrewing the fastening pin 13 necessary to make the plug 11 integral with the fitting 3 or, on the contrary, in case of following removal of the plug 11 itself.

Abstract
La présente invention concerne un système de fermeture (1) pour un raccord profilé (3) pour l’interception de fluides, en particulier des gaz, comprenant une première extrémité (5) conçue pour être rendue solidaire autour d’une ouverture d’une conduite et une seconde extrémité (7) munie d’une ouverture (9) conçue pour loger à l’intérieur au moins un bouchon de fermeture (11), ce bouchon (11) étant rendu solidaire du raccord (3) au moyen d’au moins trois ergots radiaux de fixation (13), chacun adapté pour s’engrener avec un siège périphérique et radial respectif (15) du bouchon (11). L’invention concerne également un procédé pour installer un tel système de fermeture (1).
