Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation de 6-[2-(4,4-diméthylthiochroman-6-yl)éthynyl]nicotinate, connu sous le nom de tazarotène, représenté par la formule I, et de ses sels pharmaceutiques acceptables, ledit procédé comprenant la mise en réaction du 4,4-diméthyl-6-acétylthiochromane avec un réactif de chloration pour obtenir un nouveau composé intermédiaire, le 6-(1,1-dichloroéthyl)-4,4-diméthylthiochromane, suivie par la conversion du composé 6-(1,1-dichloroéthyl)-4,4-diméthylthiochromane pour obtenir le tazarotène.
