Abstract

The invention describes a method for regenerating a loaded adsorber, wherein a single or multi-component regeneration gas is supplied to the adsorber, and a regeneration exhaust gas is removed from the adsorber to be regenerated. According to the invention a partial stream of a regeneration gas is at least temporarily supplied to the regeneration exhaust gas, bypassing the adsorber to be regenerated. For this purpose the supply of a partial stream of the regeneration gas to the regeneration exhaust gas is preferably carried out as a function of the temperature of the regeneration exhaust gas.
