Zusammenfassend wird aufgrund der erfindungsgemäßen Anordnung mit vereinfachtem Aufbau erstmals die flexible Anpassung an verschiedene Spulengrößen ermöglicht. Gleichzeitig wird vor- teilhafterweise die Höckerbildung in den Randbereichen der Spulen dadurch nahezu verhindert, dass die Verweilzeiten im Umkehrpunkt der Fadenführung mittels einer zusätzlichen Pendelbewegung der Walze in axialer Richtung ausgeglichen werden. Es hat sich überraschend herausgestellt, dass neben der erfindungsgemäßen Kombination der beweglich auf der Walze angeordneten Fadenführungen ein Hub der Walzen-Pendelbewegung von einer halben Spulenbreite zu einer hervorragenden Wicklung der Spulen führt.
