Abstract

Provided is a bottle cap (1) comprising a cover portion (11) which has a top face portion (111) for closing the mouth portion (21) of a bottle (2), a cylindrical containing portion (12) which is inserted into the mouth portion (21) of the bottle (2) and has its one end portion fixed to the top face portion (111) of the cover portion (11), and an outer cylinder portion (13) in which the containing portion (12) is contained and which has one end portion from which the other end portion of the containing portion (12) is protruded and the other end portion onto which the cover portion (11) is threaded. The containing portion (12) includes a cylindrical container body (121) opened at its end portion positioned on the opposite side of the top face portion (111) of the cover portion (11), and a bottom cover portion (122) removably fitted in the opening of the container body (121) and opposed to the one end portion of the outer cylinder portion (13). The bottle cap (1) advances the cover portion (11) threadedly in an opening direction to drive the container body (121) thereby to release the bottom cover portion (122) from the container body (121) at the one end portion of the outer cylinder portion (13). The top face portion (111) of the cover portion (11) has a transmittance of 0.06% or less, preferably 0.01 % or less for a light having a wavelength of 280 nm - 800 nm.
