Abstract

 素子が大きく変位する場合や高速で駆動する場合であっても、耐久性に優れて変位量の低下が抑制される積層型圧電素子、これを用いた噴射装置及び燃料噴射システムを提供するために、その積層型圧電素子は、複数のセラミック層と複数の内部電極層とを有し、該内部電極層がそれぞれ対向して設けられたセラミック層に挟まれてなる積層体を有する積層型圧電素子であって、前記複数のセラミック層は、圧電体層と、該圧電体層及び前記内部電極層と比較して剛性が低い低剛性セラミック層とを含んでなり、前記低剛性セラミック層は、空隙を介して互いに離隔する複数のセラミック部と、該セラミック部の外表面の少なくとも一部を被覆する被覆層とを有している。
