Abstract
The present invention relates to a motor controller (200) of an air conditioner, including an inverter (220) including a plurality of switching elements and adapted, to convert input DC power into specific AC power, the inverter driving a. motor (250) including a stator coil and a rotor, output current detection means (E) for detecting an output current (i0) flowing through the inverter, a parameter correction unit (270) that corrects an inductance value of the motor (250) based on the detected output current, and a microcomputer (230) that outputs a switching control signal (Sic) to drive switching elements within the inverter based on the corrected inductance value and the output current. Accordingly, accurate control can be performed, by varying an inductance value, that is. a motor parameter according to an output current.
