Abstract

 本発明は、被水領域に配線される電線の任意の中間位置で止水処理できるようにし、コネクタ接続される電線に出来るだけ近接した位置で止水処理ができるようにして、コネクタ接続部への被水を確実に防止することを目的とする。 本発明は、車両の被水領域に配索される電線の止水方法であって、電線の長さ方向の中間部分において絶縁被覆層を除去して芯線を露出させ、芯線露出部に流動性を有する止水剤を滴下し、止水剤の滴下時または滴下後に、芯線露出部の素線の隙間に止水剤を浸透させると共に、電線端末から絶縁被覆層の内部に負圧を導入し、止水剤を絶縁被覆層の内部に吸引し、または、芯線露出部に圧力空気を負荷して止水剤を絶縁被覆層の内部に圧入し、絶縁被覆層の内部の芯線の素線間にも止水剤を浸透させている電線の止水方法に関する。
